Abstract
The present invention relates to novel systems and methods for manufacturing estimation, production assembly and inventory management. In an embodiment, a system is provided to create and respond to RFPs, perform capacity planning for an eventual production line, efficiently implement the production line in software, and track detailed warehouse data, including transaction data. Such tracking may allow process improvement, report generation, and market research analysis. In an embodiment, one or more systems may be used to implement one or more aspects of the present invention.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A system provider server, comprising:
a memory; a network interface connecting the system provider server to a network; and a processor interconnected with the memory and the network interface, the processor configured to:
receive first input data via the network interface from a first computing device;
based on the first input data, generate a request for proposal (RFP), store the RFP in the memory and transmit the RFP to a second computing device via the network interface;
responsive to transmitting the RFP to the second computing device, receive second input data via the network interface from the second computing device;
responsive to receiving the second input data, select prior production data from the memory and generate a request for proposal response (RFPR) based on the prior production data and the second input data; store the RFPR in the memory and transmit the RFPR to the first computing device;
receive further input data from the first computing device selecting the RFPR; and
transmit a notification of the selection to the second computing device.
2 . The system provider server of claim 1 , the processor further configured to:
transmit the RFP to at least a third computing device; receive third input data from the third computing device; and based on the third input data, generate another RFPR, store the other RFPR in the memory, and transmit the other RFPR to the first computing device.
3 . The system provider server of claim 1 , the processor further configured to, based on the RFPR, generate production line data and store the production line data in the memory in association with an identifier of the second computing device
4 . The system provider server of claim 3 , the processor further configured to transmit the production line data to the second computing device via the network interface.
5 . The system provider server of claim 4 , the processor further configured to:
receive updated production line data from the second computing device; and store the updated production line data in place of the production line data.
6 . The system provider server of claim 5 , the processor further configured to:
compare the updated production line data to the RFP; and when the updated production line data does not comply with the RFP, adjust the updated production line data.
7 . The system provider server of claim 1 , wherein the first input data comprises an identifier of a finished good for the RFP.
8 . The system provider server of claim 7 , wherein the first input data further comprises an identifier of a template; and wherein the processor is further configured to generate the RFP based on the identifier of the finished good and the template.
9 . The system provider server of claim 8 , wherein the template is a previously generated RFP.
10 . A method in a service provider server having a memory, a network interface connecting the system provider server to a network, and a processor interconnected with the memory and the network interface, the method comprising:
receiving first input data at the processor via the network interface from a first computing device; based on the first input data, generating a request for proposal (RFP) at the processor, storing the RFP in the memory and transmitting the RFP to a second computing device via the network interface; responsive to transmitting the RFP to the second computing device, receiving second input data via the network interface from the second computing device; responsive to receiving the second input data, selecting prior production data from the memory and generating a request for proposal response (RFPR) based on the prior production data and the second input data; storing the RFPR in the memory and transmitting the RFPR to the first computing device; receiving further input data from the first computing device selecting the RFPR; and transmitting a notification of the selection to the second computing device.
11 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising:
transmitting the RFP to at least a third computing device; receiving third input data from the third computing device; and based on the third input data, generating another RFPR, storing the other RFPR in the memory, and transmitting the other RFPR to the first computing device.
12 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising:
based on the RFPR, generating production line data and store the production line data in the memory in association with an identifier of the second computing device.
13 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising transmitting the production line data to the second computing device via the network interface.
14 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising:
receiving updated production line data from the second computing device; and storing the updated production line data in place of the production line data.
15 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising:
comparing the updated production line data to the RFP; and when the updated production line data does not comply with the RFP, adjusting the updated production line data.
16 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the first input data comprises an identifier of a finished good for the RFP.
17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the first input data further comprises an identifier of a template; the method further comprising generating the RFP based on the identifier of the finished good and the template.
18 . The method of claim 17 , wherein the template is a previously generated RFP.
19 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a plurality of computer-readable instructions executable by a processor of a service provider server having a network interface and a memory interconnected with the processor, for implementing a method comprising:
receiving first input data at the processor via the network interface from a first computing device; based on the first input data, generating a request for proposal (RFP) at the processor, storing the RFP in the memory and transmitting the RFP to a second computing device via the network interface; responsive to transmitting the RFP to the second computing device, receiving second input data via the network interface from the second computing device; responsive to receiving the second input data, selecting prior production data from the memory and generating a request for proposal response (RFPR) based on the prior production data and the second input data; storing the RFPR in the memory and transmitting the RFPR to the first computing device; receiving further input data from the first computing device selecting the RFPR; and transmitting a notification of the selection to the second computing device.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
