Gas Manifold Bracket for Gas Grill

Abstract

A gas distribution mounting bracket for gas grills that simultaneously secures a gas distribution manifold to the fire box and support frame of the gas grill.

1 . A mounting bracket for a gas distribution manifold for a gas grill, the grill including a fire box and a support frame, comprising:
 a first end adapted to support the gas distribution manifold;   a second end adapted for attachment to a front wall of the fire box, the second end having an attachment portion at a substantially right angle to the mounting bracket; and,   an intermediate portion between the first and second ends adapted for attachment to the support frame.   
     
     
         2 . The mounting bracket of  claim 1  wherein, a plurality of said mounting brackets are provided to support the gas distribution manifold.

         4 . The mounting bracket of  claim 1  wherein the first end, the second end and the intermediate portion are formed from a single piece of metal.

         7 . The mounting bracket of  claim 1  wherein the first end includes a recess to accommodate a portion of the gas distribution manifold. 
     
     
         8 . The mounting bracket of  claim 2  wherein each of said mounting brackets is of a unitary construction. 
     
     
         9 . The mounting bracket of  claim 1  wherein the mounting bracket is of a unitary construction. 
     
     
         10 . The mounting bracket of  claim 1  wherein the first end, the second end and the intermediate portion include holes for attachment using fasteners.
