Abstract
An apparatus, method, computer program and user interface where the apparatus includes at least one processor; and at least one memory including computer program code; wherein the at least one memory and the computer program code are configured to, with the at least one processor, enable the apparatus to: display a perspective view of a geographical location at a first scale in a first region of a display; identify a point of interest associated with the geographical location; and display the identified point of interest at a second scale in a second region of the display.

at least one processor; and at least one non-transitory memory including computer program code; wherein the at least one non-transitory memory and the computer program code are configured to, with the at least one processor, enable the apparatus to: display a perspective view which comprises a point of interest at a first scale in a first region of a display; and simultaneously display a second view which comprises the point of interest at a second scale in a second region of the display.
2 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 wherein the point of interest is identified as being associated with a geographical location displayed on the display.
3 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 2 wherein identifying the point of interest comprises using a weighting algorithm to determine a point of interest relevant to a user of the apparatus.
4 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 3 wherein the weighting algorithm uses previous activity by the user of the apparatus to determine a point of interest relevant to a user of the apparatus.
5 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 wherein the second scale is larger than the first scale.
6 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 1 wherein the point of interest is displayed in a perspective view of a geographical location at a first scale in a first region of a display and at a second scale in a second region of the display.
7 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 6 wherein an indicator is displayed to indicate the location of the identified point of interest relative to the perspective view of the geographical location.
8 . A method comprising:
displaying, by an apparatus, a perspective view which comprises a point of interest at a first scale in a first region of a display; and simultaneously displaying, by the apparatus, a second view which comprises the point of interest at a second scale in a second region of the display.
9 . The method as claimed in claim 8 including identifying the point of interest as being associated with a geographical location displayed on the display.
10 . The method as claimed in claim 9 including identifying the point of interest by selecting the point of interest from a plurality of available points of interest.
11 . The method as claimed in claim 9 wherein an indicator is displayed to indicate the location of the identified point of interest relative to a perspective view of the geographical location.
12 . The method as claimed in claim 9 wherein identifying the point of interest comprises using a weighting algorithm to determine a point of interest relevant to a user of the display.
13 . The method as claimed in claim 12 wherein the weighting algorithm uses previous activity by the user of the apparatus to determine a point of interest relevant to a user of the display.
14 . The method as claimed in claim 9 wherein the identified point of interest is displayed in perspective view of a geographical location at a first scale in a first region of a display and at a second scale in a second region of the display.
15 . The method as claimed in claim 8 wherein the apparatus displays the second scale larger than the first scale.
16 . A physical entity embodying a computer program comprising program instructions for causing a computer to perform the method of claim 8 .
17 . An apparatus comprising:
at least one processor; and at least one non-transitory memory including computer program code; wherein the at least one non-transitory memory and the computer program code are configured to, with the at least one processor, enable the apparatus to: display a perspective view which comprises a geographic feature at a first scale in a first region of a display; and simultaneously display a second view which comprises the geographic feature at a second scale in a second region of the display.
18 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 17 , wherein the geographic feature is identified as being associated with a geographical location.
19 . The apparatus as claimed in claim 17 wherein the geographic feature is identified using previous activity by the user of the apparatus to determine a geographic feature relevant to the user.
20 . Code stored on a non-transitory physical entity, the code comprising computer program instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause an apparatus at least to perform:
