Abstract
Embodiments of the invention generally relate a method and apparatus for a tower structure. In one embodiment, the tower structure includes a base support plate, a plurality of articulating mast structures coupled to the base support plate and pivotable from a position parallel to the ground to an upright position, and a frame structure movably coupled to a track coupled to one of the articulating mast structures, the track disposed along a length of the one of the articulating mast structures to raise and lower the frame structure along the track.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A tower structure, comprising:
a base support plate; a plurality of articulating mast structures coupled to the base support plate and pivotable from a position parallel to the ground to an upright position; and a frame structure movably coupled to a track coupled to one of the articulating mast structures, the track disposed along a length of the one of the articulating mast structures to raise and lower the frame structure along the track.
2 . The tower structure of claim 1 , wherein the one of the plurality of articulating mast structures comprises a first mast structure and includes a winch assembly that raises or lowers the frame structure along the track.
3 . The tower structure of claim 2 , wherein the winch assembly is utilized to raise or lower the remainder of the plurality of articulating mast structures.
4 . The tower structure of claim 2 , wherein the first mast structure comprises a plurality of structural sections.
5 . The tower structure of claim 4 , wherein each of the plurality of structural sections comprise support guides for supporting the remainder of the plurality of articulating mast structures.
6 . The tower structure of claim 2 , wherein the frame structure is angularly adjustable relative to the first mast structure.
7 . The tower structure of claim 1 , further comprising:
a flange hingedly coupled to the base support plate, the base support plate and the flange being movable relative to each other in a rotational axis.
8 . The tower structure of claim 7 , wherein the base support plate has a first plurality of through-holes and a second plurality of through-holes, each of the second plurality of through-holes being disposed in a position between each of the through-holes of the first plurality of through-holes.
9 . The tower structure of claim 8 , wherein the flange has a third plurality of through-holes that substantially align with the second plurality of through-holes in the base support plate.
10 . A tower structure, comprising:
a base plate adapted to be coupled to a stationary base plate; a first mast structure and a second mast structure, each of the first mast structure and the second mast structure being coupled to the base plate and being pivotable from a position parallel to the ground to an upright position; a frame structure that supports an aerial component, the frame structure being coupled to a track disposed on one of the first mast structure and the second mast structure and being movable along a length of the respective mast structure; and a support member disposed along the length of the first mast structure to support the second mast structure when the second mast structure is in an upright position.
11 . The tower structure of claim 10 , wherein the frame structure is angularly adjustable relative to the first mast structure.
12 . The tower structure of claim 10 , wherein the first mast structure comprises a plurality of structural sections.
13 . The tower structure of claim 12 , wherein at least one of the plurality of structural sections comprises support guides for supporting the remainder of the plurality of articulating mast structures.
14 . The tower structure of claim 10 , wherein the first mast structure comprises one or more rotatable support members that supports the frame structure.
15 . The tower structure of claim 10 , wherein the first mast structure and includes a winch assembly that raises or lowers the frame structure along the track.
16 . The tower structure of claim 15 , wherein the winch assembly is utilized to raise or lower the second mast structure.
17 . A tower structure, comprising:
a base plate adapted to be coupled to a stationary base plate; a flange hingedly coupled to the base plate, the base plate and the flange being movable relative to each other in a rotational axis; a first mast structure and a second mast structure coupled to the flange and being pivotable from a position parallel to the ground to an upright position; a frame structure that supports an aerial component, the frame structure being coupled to a track disposed on the first mast structure and being movable along a length of the respective mast structure and being angularly adjustable relative to the first mast structure; and a support member disposed along the length of the first mast structure that is utilized to support the second mast structure when the second mast structure is in an upright position.
18 . The tower structure of claim 17 , wherein the first mast structure comprises a plurality of structural sections.
19 . The tower structure of claim 17 , wherein the first mast structure includes a winch assembly that raises or lowers the frame structure along the track.
20 . The tower structure of claim 19 , wherein the winch assembly is utilized to raise or lower the second mast structure.Cited by (0)
