Adhesive Pocket

Abstract

Disclosed is an adhesive pocket that can removably attach to an article of clothing or directly onto a user's skin underneath clothing. The pocket of the present invention comprises closed side ends, a closed lower end, and an open upper end that provides access to a defined interior volume therein. In one embodiment, the open upper end comprises a flap attached thereto, wherein the flap comprises a first fastener at an underside thereof. The first fastener can be removably secured to a second fastener on the pocket so as to securely close the upper end. In another embodiment, the open upper end comprises a zip-lock enclosure. The pocket can attach to an article of clothing or onto the user's skin by means of an adhesive material disposed on a back side of the pocket. Additionally, the pocket is waterproof so as to keep the contents therein dry.

I claim: 
     
         1 . An adhesive pocket, comprising:
 a waterproof pocket having a front side, a back side, a closed first end opposite a closed second end, a closed lower end opposite an open upper end that provides access to an interior volume;   said front side having a first fastener thereon;   a flap having an underside with a second fastener thereon;   wherein said flap is attached to said open upper end and can be folded downward to close said open upper end by removably securing said first fastener to said second fastener;   an adhesive patch secured to said back side.   
     
     
         2 . The adhesive pocket of  claim 1 , further comprising a waterproof lining along an interior surface of said interior volume. 
     
     
         3 . The adhesive pocket of  claim 1 , wherein said adhesive patch further comprises a removable backing. 
     
     
         4 . The adhesive pocket of  claim 1 , wherein said adhesive patch comprises an adhesive material along a peripheral edge of said adhesive patch. 
     
     
         5 . The adhesive pocket of  claim 1 , wherein said first fastener is a loop fastener and said second fastener is a hoop fastener. 
     
     
         6 . The adhesive pocket of  claim 1 , wherein said first fastener is a female snap fastener and said second fastener is a male snap fastener. 
     
     
         7 . An adhesive pocket, comprising:
 a waterproof pocket having a front side, a back side, a closed first end opposite a closed second end, a closed third end opposite an open fourth end that provides access to an interior volume;   said open fourth end having a zip-lock enclosure with coupling strips and a slider thereon;   an adhesive patch secured to said back side.   
     
     
         8 . The adhesive pocket of  claim 7 , further comprising a waterproof lining along an interior surface of said interior volume. 
     
     
         9 . The adhesive pocket of  claim 7 , wherein said adhesive patch further comprises a removable backing. 
     
     
         10 . The adhesive pocket of  claim 7 , wherein said adhesive patch comprises an adhesive material along a peripheral edge of said adhesive patch.
