Abstract
A container for holding and delivering liquids is disclosed. A controllably pressurizable reservoir system is disclosed. The reservoir system can have a reservoir and an inflation chamber adjacent to the liquid reservoir. The inflation chamber can be inflated to increase the pressure in the liquid reservoir, or deflated to decrease the pressure.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWe claim:
1 . A flexible container device comprising:
a piece of material comprising a flexible outer bag wall and a flexible inner wall, wherein the flexible inner wall is adjacent to a first contained volume and a second contained volume within the flexible outer wall, wherein the first contained volume is in fluid isolation from the second contained volume, and wherein the piece of material comprises a self-seam; a first nozzle in fluid communication with the first contained volume; and a second nozzle in fluid communication with the second contained volume.
2 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the device has a first side and a second side, and wherein on the first side of the device the flexible outer bag wall has a bottom seam across the bottom of the bag wall and a side seam along one lateral side of the bag wall, and wherein on the second side of the device the flexible outer bag wall has as weld across the bottom of the bag wall and welds along both lateral sides of the bag wall, and wherein the side seam comprises the self-seam.
3 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the second contained volume is fluidly sealed except for the second nozzle.
4 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising a slider slidably attachable to the flexible outer bag wall.
5 . The device of claim 1 , wherein a first end of the flexible outer bag wall has an opened configuration and a closed configuration, and wherein when the first end of the flexible outer bag is in an opened configuration, the first contained volume is in fluid communication with an environment outside of the device through the first end of the flexible outer bag.
6 . The device of claim 5 , wherein when the first end of the flexible outer bag is in an opened configuration, the second contained volume is fluidly isolated from the environment outside of the device through the first end of the flexible outer bag.
7 . The device of claim 1 , wherein a first end of the flexible outer bag wail has an opened configuration and a closed configuration, and wherein when the first end of the flexible outer bag is in an opened configuration, the second contained volume is fluidly isolated from the environment outside of the device through the first end of the flexible outer bag.
8 . A method of using a flexible container device having a first contained volume, a second contained volume, and a septum between the first contained volume and the second contained volume, comprising:
delivering a first fluid into the first contained volume; delivering a second fluid into the second contained volume; increasing the pressure of the second fluid in the second contained volume, wherein increasing the pressure of the second fluid comprises increasing the pressure against the septum, and wherein increasing the pressure against the septum comprises increasing the pressure in the first contained volume, and wherein the container comprises a piece of material, and wherein the piece of material comprises the septum and an outer wall of the container, and wherein the piece of material has a self-seam; delivering at least some of the first fluid out of the first contained volume concurrent and/or after the increasing of the pressure of the second fluid in the second contained volume.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
