Display apparatus, object display method, and program for displaying objects corresponding to characters

Abstract

There is provided a display apparatus including a relation score calculation unit calculating a relation score indicating closeness of a relation between characters based on a common appearance relation using segment metadata indicating a segment in a moving image where each of the characters appears, and an object display unit displaying an object corresponding to each of the characters appearing in the moving image. Further, the object display unit displays a pair of objects corresponding to a pair of characters with a high relation score to be closely positioned to each other, and displays a pair of objects corresponding to a pair of characters with a low relation score to be positioned far from each other.

         20 . An information processing apparatus comprising:
 circuitry configured to
 extract, from a time-series image content, a metadata of a face image and a performed time, 
 store the metadata, 
 determine, using the metadata, a relationship between users, and 
 provide an associated information based on the relationship between the users. 
   
     
     
         21 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 20 , wherein the metadata indicates a segment of the content where the face image appears. 
     
     
         22 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 20 , wherein the performed time indicates a length of appearance of the face image within the content when the content is reproduced. 
     
     
         23 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 20 , wherein the relationship between the users is of a common appearance time within the content when the content is reproduced. 
     
     
         24 . An information processing method comprising:
 extracting, from a time-series image content, a metadata of a face image and a performed time;   storing the metadata;   determining, using the metadata, a relationship between users; and   providing an associated information based on the relationship between the users.   
     
     
         25 . The information processing method according to  claim 24 , wherein the metadata indicates a segment of the content where the face image appears. 
     
     
         26 . The information processing method according to  claim 24 , wherein the performed time indicates a length of appearance of the face image within the content when the content is reproduced. 
     
     
         27 . The information processing method according to  claim 24 , wherein the relationship between the users is of a common appearance time within the content when the content is reproduced. 
     
     
         28 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium having embodied thereon a program, which when executed by a computer causes the computer to execute an information processing method, the method comprising:
 extracting, from a time-series image content, a metadata of a face image and a performed time;   storing the metadata;   determining, using the metadata, a relationship between users; and   providing an associated information based on the relationship between the users.
