Abstract
The invention relates to the use of ulipristal acetate, or any of its metabolites, in preventing or treating a breast tumor in a patient, preferably a patient that carries a mutation in BRCA1 gene.

11 . A method for preventing or treating a breast tumor in a patient, which method comprises administering said patient with ulipristal acetate, or any of its metabolites.
12 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the patient carries a mutation in BRCA1 and/or BRCA2 gene.
13 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the patient carries a mutation in BRCA1 and/or BRCA2 gene.
14 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the breast tumor is a breast carcinoma.
15 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein ulipristal acetate, or any of its metabolites, is administered orally.
16 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein ulipristal acetate, or any of its metabolites, is administered intravenously.
17 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein ulipristal acetate, or any of its metabolites, is administered by the vaginal or intrauterine route.
18 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the patient is a female patient.
