Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 .- 15 . (canceled)

         16 . A device, comprising:
a first portion constructed from stretchable material that is substantially form fitting to a user's physique and that extends across a collar bone area of the user; and a cooling composition disposed in the first portion for applying a cooling effect to the collar bone area of the user.

17 . The device of claim 16 , further comprising a second portion that is substantially form fitting to a chest area of the user.

18 . The device of claim 17 , wherein the second portion is releasably attached to the first portion.

19 . The device of claim 16 , wherein the cooling composition is disposed in a single or a plurality of cooling packs.

20 . The device of claim 16 , wherein the cooling composition maintains a temperature of around 58° F. for at least two hours.

21 . The device of claim 16 , wherein the first portion extends onto a neck area of the user.

22 . The device of claim 16 , wherein the first portion extends across at least one of an upper spine area, shoulder blades, or an armpit area of the user.

23 . The device of claim 16 , wherein the cooling composition maintains a temperature of around 60° F. for at least two hours.

         24 . A device, comprising:
a first portion constructed from stretchable material that is substantially form fitting to a user's physique and that extends across a collar bone area of the user; a cooling composition disposed in the first portion for applying a cooling effect to the collar bone area of the user; a second portion constructed from a stretchable material that is substantially form fitting to the user's torso, the second portion allowing one or more packets to be attached thereto; and at least one support strap for distributing a weight of the one or more packets about at least a portion of a surface area of the second portion.

25 . The device of claim 24 , wherein the second portion comprises a material which is stretchable in a first direction and which resists stretching in a second direction.

26 . The device of claim 25 , wherein the second direction is substantially perpendicular to the first direction.

27 . The device of claim 25 , wherein the first direction is substantially horizontal with respect to a standing user, and wherein the second direction is substantially vertical with respect to the standing user.

28 . The device of claim 25 , wherein the at least one support strap is constructed to support the weight of the one or more packets in the second direction.

         29 . The device of claim 24 , wherein:
the second portion further comprises at least one compartment into which the one or more packets are attached, wherein the one or more packets are confined substantially within the at least one compartment.

30 . The device of claim 24 , further comprising:
an outer shell covering at least part of the first portion; and the first portion further comprising one or more compartments for receiving the cooling composition.

31 . The device of claim 24 , wherein the stretchable material of the second portion is a breathable spandex or an elastic weave that allows perspiration of the user to pass therethrough.

32 . The device of claim 24 , wherein the support strap comprises supporting internal stitching or weaving.

33 . The device of claim 24 , wherein the first portion extends onto a neck area of the user.

34 . The device of claim 24 , wherein the first portion extends across at least one of an upper spine area, shoulder blades, or an armpit area of the user.

35 . The device of claim 24 , wherein the cooling composition maintains a temperature of around 60° F. for at least two hours.
