Abstract

A reactor comprising a coil including a pair of coil elements and a magnetic core including a pair of inner core portions, outer core portions that connect the inner core portions to form a closed magnetic circuit, and a case that houses an assembly of the coil and the magnetic core, wherein the gap between the outer peripheral surface of the coil and the inner peripheral surface of the side wall portion of the case is 0 mm to 1.0 mm.

1 . A reactor comprising a coil, a magnetic core and a case that houses an assembly of the coil and the magnetic core,
 wherein the gap between the outer peripheral surface of the coil and the inner peripheral surface of a side wall portion of the case is 0 mm to 1.0 mm.   
     
     
         2 . The reactor according to  claim 1 , wherein a bottom plate portion of the case is a rectangular plate and the side wall portion of the case is a rectangular frame-shaped member. 
     
     
         3 . The reactor according to  claim 2 , wherein the side wall portion of the case is made of a resin. 
     
     
         4 . The reactor according to  claim 2 , wherein the side wall portion of the case is made of a metal material. 
     
     
         5 . The reactor according to  claim 1 , further comprising an insulator interposed between the coil and the magnetic core.
