A fire suppression composition includes starch, a pseudo-plastic, high yield, suspending agent, and agglomerating material.

10 . A method comprising:
combining an agglomerating material with a powdered fire suppression suspension forming composition to form an agglomerated fire suppression suspension forming composition, the powdered fire suppression suspension forming composition comprising:
35-65 wt % starch; and
25-55 wt % pseudo-plastic, high yield, suspending agent.
11 . The method according to claim 10 wherein the powdered fire suppression suspension forming composition further comprises clay.
12 . The method according to claim 10 wherein the powdered fire suppression suspension forming composition comprises:
40-60 wt % starch; and
30-50 wt % pseudo-plastic, high yield, suspending agent.
13 . The method according to claim 10 further comprising adding the agglomerated fire suppression suspension forming composition to a water reservoir to form a fire suppression gel or suspension.
14 . The method according to claim 13 further comprising recirculating the water reservoir to form a fire suppression gel or suspension.
15 . The method according to claim 13 further comprising spraying the fire suppression gel or suspension to extinguish a fire.
16 . The method according to claim 15 wherein the fire suppression gel or suspension clings to a surface positioned in any orientation, and forms an exterior intumescent char coating upon fire contact.
17 . The method according to claim 13 wherein the fire suppression gel or suspension comprises 0.1 to 5% wt of the powdered fire suppression suspension forming composition.
18 . The method according to claim 17 wherein the fire suppression gel or suspension clings to a surface positioned in any orientation, and forms an exterior intumescent char coating upon fire contact.
19 . A method comprising:
agglomerating a powdered fire suppression suspension forming composition to form an agglomerated fire suppression suspension forming composition, comprising:
35-65 wt % starch; and
25-55 wt % pseudo-plastic, high yield, suspending agent.
20 . The method according to claim 19 wherein the agglomerating comprising combining the powdered fire suppression suspension forming composition with a hydrophobic agglomerating material.
21 . The method according to claim 19 further comprising adding the agglomerated fire suppression suspension forming composition to water to form a fire suppression gel or suspension.
23 . The method according to claim 21 further comprising recirculating the fire suppression gel or suspension within a water reservoir to form a fire suppression gel or suspension.
24 . The method according to claim 21 further comprising spraying the fire suppression gel or suspension to extinguish a fire.
25 . The method according to claim 24 wherein the fire suppression gel or suspension clings to a surface positioned in any orientation, and forms an exterior intumescent char coating upon fire contact.
26 . The method according to claim 24 wherein the fire suppression gel or suspension comprises 0.1 to 5% wt of the agglomerated powdered fire suppression suspension forming composition.
27 . The method according to claim 26 wherein the fire suppression gel or suspension clings to a surface positioned in any orientation, and forms an exterior intumescent char coating upon fire contact.
