Abstract
According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a method, system and technique for energy allocation is disclosed. The system includes: a filtration system configured to filter waste vegetable oil generated by a facility; an engine fueled with the filtered vegetable oil; and a generator driven by the engine to provide an alternating current (AC) power supply; and wherein exhaust heat generated by the engine is processed and allocated to the facility as an energy source.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An energy allocation system, comprising:
an engine fueled with waste vegetable oil; a heat exchanger configured to capture waste heat energy from a heating unit of a facility; a fluid circulation loop configured to transfer the waste heat energy captured by the heat exchanger to a heat source, the heat source selectively operated to increase a temperature of a collection medium of the fluid circulation loop; and wherein the heat collected by the collection medium is processed and allocated to the facility as an energy source.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the fluid collection loop transfers the waste heat energy captured by the heat exchanger to another heat exchanger configured to capture waste heat energy from another heating unit of the facility to increase a temperature of the collection medium of the fluid circulation loop.
3 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a cleaning assembly having a cleaning medium for cleaning exhaust from the engine.
4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the heat source comprises a solar device.
5 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a control system for selectively operating the heat source based on a temperature of the collection medium of the fluid circulation loop.
6 . An energy allocation system, comprising:
a heat exchanger disposed on a premises and configured to capture waste heat energy from a heat-generating device located on the premises; a fluid circulation loop configured to transfer the waste heat energy captured by the heat exchanger to a heat source located on the premises, the heat source selectively operated to increase a temperature of a collection medium of the fluid circulation loop; and a working unit located on the premises, wherein the heat collected by the fluid circulation medium is allocated to the working unit as an energy source.
7 . The system of claim 6 , wherein the heat source comprises a solar device for capturing solar energy.
8 . The system of claim 6 , wherein the heat-generating device comprises an air conditioning unit.
9 . The system of claim 6 , wherein the fluid collection loop transfers the waste heat energy captured by the heat exchanger to another heat exchanger configured to capture waste heat energy from another heat-generating device located on the premises to increase a temperature of the collection medium of the fluid circulation loop.
10 . The system of claim 6 , further comprising a control system for selectively operating the heat source based on a temperature of the collection medium of the fluid circulation loop.
11 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the control system is operable to control a flow rate of the collection medium in the fluid circulation loop.
12 . The system of claim 5 , wherein the control system is operable to control a flow rate of the collection medium in the fluid circulation loop.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
