Abstract
A system, method, and article of manufacture for generating a digital pass is disclosed. The method may comprise retrieving a plurality of identity attributes, and grouping a subset of identity attributes in the plurality of identity attributes to generate at least one digital pass. The method may further comprise grouping a subset of static identity attributes and a subset of dynamic identity attributes to generate a digital pass.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 20 . (canceled)
21 . A method, comprising:
a computer system providing to a first user an identifier that uniquely identifies the first user, wherein the identifier includes two or more attributes of the first user stored in a first account corresponding to the first user; receiving, by the computer system, transaction information indicating that a transaction for a purchase from a merchant has been initiated by the first user using the identifier; based on the identifier, the computer system determining that the first user is authorized to transfer funds from a transaction account associated with a second user to an account for the merchant; and upon the determining, the computer system, instructing a transfer of funds for the purchase from the transaction account associated with the second user to the account for the merchant.
22 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising:
based on account information associated with the first account indicating that a first portion of the attributes stored in the first account are not publicly accessible, the computer system generating the identifier based on a second portion of the attributes stored in the first account.
23 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising:
the computer system comparing the merchant to a list of authorized merchants stored in the first account; and based on a result of the comparing, wherein the result indicates that the merchant is included in the list of authorized merchants, the computer system determining that the first user is authorized to transfer the funds.
24 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the instructing does not include transmitting transaction account information associated with the first or the second user to the merchant.
25 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising: the computer system determining, based on the identifier, that the first account is associated with a second account of the second user; and
based on account information stored in the second account indicating that the second user has preapproved the transaction, the computer system determining that the first user is authorized to transfer the funds.
26 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising:
without receiving a shipping address from the first user for the purchase, the computer system instructing the merchant to deliver the purchase to a shipping address stored in the first account.
27 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising:
the computer system comparing an amount of the transaction to a balance of the transaction account associated with the second user; and based on a result of the comparing, wherein the result indicates that the balance exceeds the amount of the transaction, the computer system authorizing the transaction.
28 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising:
based on account information indicating that the first account is supplemental to a second account of the second user, the computer system permitting the second user to access the first account; and in response to detecting that the second user specified at least one merchant restriction for the first account, the computer system updating information stored in the first account to include the at least one merchant restriction.
29 . An article of manufacture including a non-transitory computer readable medium having instructions stored thereon that are executable by a computer system to cause the computer system to perform operations comprising:
receiving, from a first user, an identifier that uniquely identifies the first user in a request for a payment for a purchase from a seller; determining that the identifier corresponds to two or more of a plurality of attributes stored in first account corresponding to the first user; and based on the determining and account information indicating that the first account is associated with a second account of a second user, transferring, the payment from a transaction account associated with the second account to a transaction account associated with the seller.
30 . The article of manufacture of claim 29 , wherein the operations further comprise:
prior to transferring the payment to the transaction account associated with the seller, transferring the payment to an allowance account associated with the first account; and based on information indicating that the request has been approved, continuing the transferring such that the payment is transferred to the transaction account associated with the seller.
31 . The article of manufacture of claim 29 , wherein the operations further comprise:
based on a result of comparing the identifier to the plurality of attributes stored in the first account, wherein the result indicates that the identifier corresponds to the two or more attributes, approving the request.
32 . The article of manufacture of claim 29 , wherein the operations further comprise:
upon receiving from the second user a second identifier that uniquely identifies the second user, permitting the second user to access both the first account and the second account; and storing in the first account one or more purchase restrictions specified by the second user.
33 . The article of manufacture of claim 29 , wherein the operations further comprise:
comparing a location of the seller to one or more purchase restrictions stored in the first account; and based on a result of the comparing, wherein the result indicates that the location of the seller complies with the one or more purchase restrictions, approving the request.
34 . The article of manufacture of claim 29 , wherein the operations further comprise:
determining that a first attribute stored in the account has remained static over a time interval and that a second attribute stored in the account has changed at least once over the time interval; and generating the identifier that uniquely identifies the user, wherein the identifier includes both the first and second attributes.
35 . A system, comprising:
a processor; and a non-transitory memory configured to communicate with the processor, the non-transitory memory having instructions stored thereon that are executable by the processor to cause the system to perform operations comprising: receiving from a user a request to access an account, wherein the request includes an identifier that uniquely identifies the user; based on information indicating that portions of the identifier are in common with respective portions of at least two attributes stored in the account, permitting the user to access the account; receiving purchase information indicating that the user has initiated a purchase from a seller using the account; in response to receiving the purchase information, determining that the user is authorized to transfer funds from a transaction account of a different user; and transferring, funds for the purchase from the transaction account associated with the different user to a transaction account associated with the seller.
36 . The system of claim 35 , wherein the operations further comprise:
based on account information indicating that the purchase meets a purchase criterion stored in the account, determining that the user is authorized to transfer funds from the transaction account of the different user.
37 . The system of claim 35 , wherein the operations further comprise:
generating the identifier using the respective portions of the two or more attributes stored in the account such that the identifier uniquely identifies the user; and prior to receiving the request to access, transmitting the identifier to the user.
38 . The system of claim 35 , wherein the operations further comprise:
upon determining that the purchase meets an allowance related rule stored in the account, redeeming at least the portion of an allowance by transferring the funds to the transaction account associated with the seller.
39 . The system of claim 35 , wherein the operations further comprise:
based on the request to access, determining that the account is associated with a different account of the different user; and determining, based on account information stored in the different account, that the transaction account associated with the different user has been authorized to fund an allowance for the user.
40 . The system of claim 35 , wherein the operations further comprise:
based on account information associated with the first account indicating that at least a portion of the account information is publicly accessible, allowing the seller to access at least the portion of the account information; and facilitating the seller to transmit to the user a purchase incentive that corresponds to at least the portion of the account information.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
