Systems and methods for targeted assistance on user check-in
Abstract
There are provided systems and method for targeted assistance on user check-in. A service location may provide beacons at or near the location to determine if a user approaching or at the service location has any experience with the service location. For example, a merchant may place a beacon at the entrance to a store to determine if a user has shopped at the store. Thus, when a user is in proximity to the beacon, a user device of the user and the beacon may establish a check-in. Through a user identifier communicated to the beacon, the service provider at the location may determine a user history, such as a number of visits by the user to the service location. The service location may then provide targeted assistance, such as information, personal help, item searches, etc., based on the user's history with the merchant.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A system comprising:
a non-transitory memory storing service provider information comprising a targeted assistance at a location; and one or more hardware processors in communication with the non-transitory memory and configured to:
access user check-in information comprising at least a user identifier for a user from at least one beacon corresponding to the location when the user device is in communication with the at least one beacon;
determine a user history with the location by the user using the user identifier; and
provide the targeted assistance to the user based on the user history.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the user device is in proximity to the at least one beacon, and wherein the user device and the at least one beacon are in communication using one of near field communication, radio communication, infrared communication, Bluetooth communication, and Bluetooth low energy communication.
3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the user identifier comprises at least one of a location of origin of the user identifier, a location of use of a user account corresponding to the user identifier, and a nationality of the user.
4 . The system of claim 3 , wherein the one or more hardware processors is further configured to:
determine a language corresponding to the user using the user identifier, wherein the targeted assistance is further provided in the language.
5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more hardware processors is further configured to:
determine a user experience level with the location using the user history, wherein the targeted assistance is further provided matching the user experience level.
6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more hardware processors is further configured to:
determine a plurality of types of assistance for the user using the user history; and transmit the plurality of types of assistance for selection by the first user.
7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein prior to the one or more hardware processors providing the targeted assistance to the user, the one or more hardware processors is further configured to:
receive a request to provide the targeted assistance from the user.
8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more hardware processors is further configured to:
receive user assistance preferences from the user, wherein the targeted assistance is further provided using the user assistance preferences.
9 . The system of claim 1 , wherein user history comprises a number of visits to the location, and wherein the targeted assistance is further provided using the number of visits to the location.
10 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more hardware processors is further configured to:
determine user disability needs using the user identifier or the user history, wherein the targeted assistance is further provided using the user disability needs.
11 . A method comprising:
accessing user check-in information comprising at least a user identifier for a user from at least one beacon corresponding to the location when the user device is in communication with the at least one beacon; determining, using one or more hardware processors of a server, a user history with the location by the user using the user identifier; and providing a targeted assistance to the user based on the user history.
12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the user identifier comprises at least one of a location of origin of the user identifier, a location of use of a user account corresponding to the user identifier, and a nationality of the user.
13 . The method of claim 12 further comprising:
determining a language corresponding to the user using the user identifier,
wherein the targeted assistance is further provided in the language.
14 . The method of claim 11 further comprising:
determining a user experience level with the location using the user history,
wherein the targeted assistance is further provided matching the user experience level.
15 . The method of claim 11 further comprising:
determining a plurality of types of assistance for the user using the user history; and
transmit the plurality of types of assistance for selection by the first user.
16 . The method of claim 11 , wherein prior to the providing the targeted assistance to the user, the method further comprises:
receiving a request to provide the targeted assistance from the user.
17 . The method of claim 11 further comprising:
receive user assistance preferences from the user,
wherein the targeted assistance is further provided using the user assistance preferences.
18 . The method of claim 11 , wherein user history comprises a number of visits to the location, and wherein the targeted assistance is further provided using the number of visits to the location.
19 . The method of claim 11 further comprising:
determine user disability needs using the user identifier or the user history, wherein the targeted assistance is further provided using the user disability needs.
20 . A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising a plurality of machine-readable instructions which when executed by one or more processors of a server are adapted to cause the server to perform a method comprising:
accessing user check-in information comprising at least a user identifier for a user from at least one beacon corresponding to the location when the user device is in communication with the at least one beacon; determining a user history comprising a number of visits to the location by the user using the user identifier; and providing a targeted assistance to the user based on the user history.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
