Abstract

The semiconductive roller according to the present invention includes a nonporous roller body made of a rubber composition containing styrene-butadiene rubber and epichlorohydrin rubber as rubber components.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A semiconductive roller comprising a nonporous roller body made of a rubber composition containing styrene-butadiene rubber and epichlorohydrin rubber as rubber components, wherein
the compounding ratio of the styrene-butadiene rubber is not less than 10 parts by mass and not more than 80 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the total quantity of the rubber components, and the rubber composition further contains ethylene-propylene-diene rubber as still another rubber component.

2 . The semiconductive roller according to claim 1 , wherein the roller body includes an oxide film on an outer peripheral surface thereof.

3 . The semiconductive roller according to claim 1 , employed as a developing roller for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on a surface of a photosensitive body into a toner image with charged toner in an image-forming apparatus utilizing electrophotography.

4 . A semiconductive roller comprising a nonporous roller body made of a rubber composition containing styrene-butadiene rubber and epichlorohydrin rubber as rubber components, wherein
the compounding ratio of the styrene-butadiene rubber is not less than 10 parts by mass and not more than 80 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the total quantity of the rubber components, and the roller body includes an oxide film on an outer peripheral surface thereof.

5 . The semiconductive roller according to claim 4 , employed as a developing roller for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on a surface of a photosensitive body into a toner image with charged toner in an image-forming apparatus utilizing electrophotography.
