. A method, comprising:
receiving biometric imaging data from a medical device; transmitting a stream of the biometric imaging data of a patient to a remote location; transmitting a video stream depicting a source of the biometric imaging data; receiving instructions to alter an acquisition characteristic of the biometric imaging data from the remote location; outputting the instructions to alter the acquisition characteristic of the biometric imaging data; detecting, using a computer aided diagnostic program, and flagging a spot on an organ in the biometric imaging data; and automatically selecting an image of anatomy comparable to the biometric imaging data based on an analysis of the biometric imaging data without receiving user input, the selected image being sent to the remote location.

. The method as recited in claim 8 , wherein the biometric imaging data is ultrasound sonograph data.

. The method as recited in claim 8 , wherein the biometric imaging data is radiography data.

. The method as recited in claim 8 , wherein the stream of the biometric imaging data is transmitted in real time concurrently with the video stream.

. The method as recited in claim 8 , wherein the instructions are live voice instructions from a user at the remote location, the instructions being audibly output.

. The method as recited in claim 8 , wherein the instructions are control instructions from a user at the remote location, the instructions being output to a device acquiring the biometric imaging data.
