Abstract
A method for optimizing search results for an entity includes determining a grouping for actions related to an entity. The grouping may include a plurality of terms. The method may also include searching a network for the terms associated with the grouping. Thereafter, results of the searches may be analyzed to determine a rank for the entity within the results.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method to optimize search results related to a website of an entity performed by a computing system, the method comprising:
generating a search request for a keyword; sending the search request to at least one third party search engine; importing a third party search engine results page from the at least one third party search engine; determining whether the search engine results page includes a search result with a reference to a webpage of an entity within rank search engine results on the search engine results page; in response to determining that the search engine results include the search result with the reference to the webpage, analyzing the ranked search engine results to identify a rank for the search result with the reference to the webpage based on a position of the search engine result with the reference to the webpage with respect to positions of other search engine results on the search engine results page; correlating the search result with the reference to the webpage with conversions on the webpage of the entity to determine a number of conversions provided by the search result with the reference of the webpage; repeating the above steps for a plurality of keywords within a keyword grouping, the plurality of keywords being in the keyword based on a relationship between the keywords; repeating the above steps for a plurality of keyword groupings; and comparing the plurality of keyword groupings based on the number of conversions provided by the references to the webpages.
2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising for each of the keywords, correlating the keyword with the rank for the search result with the reference to the webpage that results from the search using the keyword, wherein the plurality of keyword groupings are compared based on the ranks of the keywords in each of the plurality of keyword groupings.
3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising obtaining the plurality of keyword groupings.
4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein obtaining the plurality of keyword groupings includes receiving from a user input to define the plurality of keyword groupings.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein obtaining the plurality of keyword groupings includes automatically determining the keyword groupings based on previous conversions associated with the keywords.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein obtaining the plurality of keyword groupings includes determining keyword variants.
7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein keyword variants include syntax combination of the keyword identified by at least one of user input and system intelligence.
8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising performing a frequency analysis on the ranked search engine results based on the keyword searched that resulted in the ranked search engine results.
9 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising grouping other keywords from the ranked search engine results in the keyword grouping that includes the keyword based on the frequency analysis.
10 . One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing one or more programs that causes one or more processors to execute operations to optimize search results related to a website of an entity, the operations comprising:
generating a search request for a keyword; sending the search request to at least one third party search engine; importing a third party search engine results page from the at least one third party search engine; determining whether the search engine results page includes a search result with a reference to a webpage of an entity within rank search engine results on the search engine results page; in response to determining that the search engine results include the search result with the reference to the webpage, analyzing the ranked search engine results to identify a rank for the search result with the reference to the webpage based on a position of the search engine result with the reference to the webpage with respect to positions of other search engine results on the search engine results page; correlating the search result with the reference to the webpage with conversions on the webpage of the entity to determine a number of conversions provided by the search result with the reference of the webpage; repeating the above steps for a plurality of keywords within a keyword grouping, the plurality of keywords being in the keyword based on a relationship between the keywords; repeating the above steps for a plurality of keyword groupings; and comparing the plurality of keyword groupings based on the number of conversions provided by the references to the webpages.
11 . The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 10 , the operations further comprising for each of the keywords, correlating the keyword with the rank for the search result with the reference to the webpage that results from the search using the keyword, wherein the plurality of keyword groupings are compared based on the ranks of the keywords in each of the plurality of keyword groupings.
12 . The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 10 , the operations further comprising obtaining the plurality of keyword groupings.
13 . The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 12 , wherein obtaining the plurality of keyword groupings includes receiving from a user input to define the plurality of keyword groupings.
14 . The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 10 , wherein obtaining the plurality of keyword groupings includes automatically determining the keyword groupings based on previous conversions associated with the keywords.
15 . The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 10 , wherein obtaining the plurality of keyword groupings includes determining keyword variants.
16 . The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 15 , wherein keyword variants include syntax combination of the keyword identified by at least one of user input and system intelligence.
17 . The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 10 , the operations further comprising performing a frequency analysis on the ranked search engine results based on the keyword searched that resulted in the ranked search engine results.
18 . The non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 17 , the operations further comprising grouping other keywords from the ranked search engine results in the keyword grouping that includes the keyword based on the frequency analysis.Cited by (0)
