Abstract
A task management system may be configured to select and/or perform one or more tasks. The task management system may be configured to create weighted groups of tasks to be performed in response to various triggering conditions. The task management system may include a value generation module, which may be configured to generate values used to select tasks from two or more of the weighted groups of tasks.

21 . A computer-implemented method, comprising:
receiving one or more keywords associated with a search engine query; generating an index based at least partly on the one or more keywords; accessing, based at least partly on the index, a group of tasks from a plurality of groups of tasks; selecting a task of the group of tasks based at least partly on the index; performing the task, the task comprising determining one or more substitute keywords for the one or more keywords; and sending the one or more substitute keywords to an advertisement supplier.
22 . The computer-implemented method of claim 21 , wherein:
the group of tasks comprises a plurality of weighted tasks; and each task of the group of tasks is associated with a weight that determines how often each task is performed.
23 . The computer-implemented method of claim 21 , wherein the advertisement supplier provides an advertisement based at least partly on receiving the one or more substitute keywords.
24 . The computer-implemented method of claim 23 , further comprising:
determining a click-through rate for the advertisement provided by the advertisement supplier.
25 . The computer-implemented method of claim 21 , further comprising:
receiving one or more additional keywords associated with a second search engine query; and sending the one or more additional keywords to the advertisement supplier.
26 . The computer-implemented method of claim 25 , wherein the advertisement supplier provides a second advertisement based at least partly on receiving the one or more additional keywords.
27 . The computer-implemented method of claim 26 , further comprising determining a click-through rate for the second advertisement provided by the advertisement supplier.
28 . A server, comprising:
one or more processors; and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing instructions that are executable by the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
receiving one or more keywords associated with a search engine query;
generating an index based at least partly on the one or more keywords;
accessing, based at least partly on the index, a group of tasks from a plurality of groups of tasks;
selecting a task of the group of tasks based at least partly on the index;
performing the task, the task comprising determining one or more substitute keywords for the one or more keywords; and
sending the one or more substitute keywords to an advertisement supplier.
29 . The server of claim 28 , wherein:
the group of tasks comprises a plurality of weighted tasks; and each task of the group of tasks is associated with a weight that determines how often each task is performed.
30 . The server of claim 28 , wherein the advertisement supplier provides an advertisement based at least partly on receiving the one or more substitute keywords.
31 . The server of claim 30 , the operations further comprising:
determining a click-through rate for the advertisement provided by the advertisement supplier.
32 . The server of claim 28 , the operations further comprising:
receiving one or more additional keywords associated with a second search engine query; and sending the one or more additional keywords to the advertisement supplier.
33 . The server of claim 32 , wherein the advertisement supplier provides a second advertisement based at least partly on receiving the one or more additional keywords.
34 . The server of claim 33 , the operations further comprising determining a click-through rate for the second advertisement provided by the advertisement supplier.
35 . One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing instructions executable by one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
receiving one or more keywords associated with a search engine query; generating an index based at least partly on the one or more keywords; accessing, based at least partly on the index, a group of tasks from a plurality of groups of tasks; selecting a task of the group of tasks based at least partly on the index; performing the task, the task comprising determining one or more substitute keywords for the one or more keywords; and sending the one or more substitute keywords to an advertisement supplier.
36 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 35 , wherein:
the group of tasks comprises a plurality of weighted tasks; and each task of the group of tasks is associated with a weight that determines how often each task is performed.
37 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 35 , wherein the advertisement supplier provides an advertisement based at least partly on receiving the one or more substitute keywords.
38 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 35 , the operations further comprising:
receiving one or more additional keywords associated with a second search engine query; and sending the one or more additional keywords to the advertisement supplier.
39 . The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 38 , wherein the advertisement supplier provides a second advertisement based at least partly on receiving the one or more additional keywords.
