Battery management device, control method and program therefor, and battery monitoring system provided with same
Abstract
This battery monitoring system quickly and accurately grasps the position of a monitoring device that monitors battery packs when an abnormality occurs in the monitoring device. The battery monitoring system is equipped with a comparison unit and a change unit. When a battery management unit (BMU) which acquires, from each of a plurality of cell monitoring units (CMUs) that monitor a plurality of battery packs provided with at least one secondary battery cell, battery state information for the associated battery pack, activates a particular CMU according to a predetermined sequence, the comparison unit compares the sequence number representing the sequence in which the CMU was activated with an identification number assigned to the CMU acquired from the CMU. If the sequence number and the identification number differ, the change unit changes the identification number to the same number as the sequence number, and outputs the new identification number.

5 . A control method of a battery management device that acquires, from each of a plurality of monitoring devices that monitor a plurality of battery packs each including one or more secondary battery cells, battery state information of the corresponding battery pack, the method comprising:
a first step of comparing a sequence number when each of the monitoring devices is activated with the identification number, which is assigned to each of the monitoring devices and is acquired from the monitoring device, when the monitoring device is activated in a predetermined sequence; and a second step of changing the identification number to the same number as the sequence number and outputting the new identification number after the change to the monitoring device when the sequence number is different from the identification number.
6 . A control program of a battery management device that acquires, from each of a plurality of monitoring devices that monitor a plurality of battery packs each including one or more secondary battery cells, battery state information of the corresponding battery pack, the program causing a computer to execute:
a first process of comparing a sequence number when each of the monitoring devices is activated with the identification number, which is assigned to each of the monitoring devices and is acquired from the monitoring device, when the monitoring device is activated in a predetermined sequence; and a second process of changing the identification number to the same number as the sequence number and outputting the new identification number after the change to the monitoring device when the sequence number is different from the identification number.
7 . A battery monitoring system, comprising:

8 . The battery management device according to claim 2 ,
wherein, when the sequence number and the identification number match each other, the change means outputs a monitoring device activation command to the monitoring device, for which the sequence number and the identification number have been compared with each other, without changing the identification number of the monitoring device, so that the monitoring device on a downstream side that is opposite to the battery management device when the battery management device side is assumed to be an upstream side is activated.
9 . The battery management device according to claim 2 ,
wherein the monitoring device outputs contact information indicating normal when connection switching means is in a connection state and outputs contact information indicating a failure when the connection switching means is in a non-connection state, the connection switching means performing switching between connection and non-connection with respect to a downstream side on an opposite side to the battery management device when the battery management device side is assumed to be an upstream side, and the battery management device includes determination means for determining the monitoring device that outputs the contact information indicating normal to be the monitoring device at an end when the contact information indicating normal is detected in an initial state.
