Precision Hop-Up Mechanism

Abstract

A Precision Hop-Up Mechanism that utilizes a flexible detent to securely lock the hop-up adjustment knob in position as well as provide an audible and tactile indication to aid users when zeroing their weapon.

1 . A method and apparatus to provide a user with a device to adjust and lock the hop-up mechanism of an airsoft rifle wherein;
 The apparatus is a Detent located on the Precision Hop-Up Mechanism   
     
     
         2 . The device being a Detent on a Precision Hop-Up Mechanism that will provide a method wherein the said Detent will;
 Provide audible and tactile feedback to a user when making Hop-Up adjustments Lock the Hop-Up when the user has chosen the desired level of adjustment.   
     
     
         3 . The Detent from  claim 2  generally referring to either;
 A Flexible Detent referring to a flexible device such as a pin that will resist or arrest the rotation of a wheel, knob, axle, or spindle. 
 A Ball Detent referring to a sphere, within a bored cylinder, against the pressure of a spring that pushes the sphere, or ball, against the adjustment knob.
