Antibiotic Tolerance Inhibitors

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to benzimidazole-benzamide derivatives, and the use thereof, e.g., to treat infections.

1 . A compound of Formula I: 
       
         
           
           
               
               
           
         
       
       or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein:
 Y is (CH 2 ) p , O, or a bond; 
 Ring A is aryl, heteroaryl, heterocycloalkyl, substituted by 1 to 5 R 1 ; 
 R 1  is H, —NR a R b , NO 2 , or —NHC(O)R c ; or 2 R 1  together with the carbon atoms to which they are attached form a heteroaryl or heterocycloalkyl; 
 R 2  is H, C 1-6  alkyl, C 1-6  alkoxy, —NR a R b , —NHC(O)R a , NO 2 , —CN, —SR a , —S(O) 2 R a ; 
 R a  and R b  are each independently H or C 1-6  alkyl; 
 R c  is H, C 1-6  alkyl, C 1-6  haloalkyl; 
 m is 1, 2, 3, or 4; and 
 p is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6.
