Abstract

The gift bag of the present disclosure and related inventions combines a traditional gift bag with sound capabilities and motorized movement of a moving attachment. The gift bag contains a user-interactive switch which controls activating of the sound module which is operative to store and playback at least one audio file and also controls activation of a miniature motor which causing movement of a moving attachment. The moving attachment may be a die cut shape that combines with the artwork on the gift bag to form an entertaining character. The movement of the die cut shape may simulate the character talking, singing or dancing to the audio. The gift bag provides a form of wrapping or cover for a gift but also provides entertainment for the gift recipient.

1 . A gift bag comprising:
 a gift bag having a front panel, a back panel opposite the front panel, two side panels contained between the front and back panels, a bottom panel attached to the front, back and two side panels creating one closed end with an open end opposite thereto;   a sound module operative to store and playback at least one audio clip;   a motor module operative to effect movement of a moving attachment;   the moving attachment connected to the motor module through an opening in one of the gift bag panels;   a push-button switch located near a top edge of the open end of the gift bag;   wherein when the push-button is pressed, playback of the at least one audio clip is initiated and movement of the moving attachment is initiated.   
     
     
         2 . The gift bag of  claim 1 , wherein the moving attachment appears as a mouth of a character printed on the gift bag. 
     
     
         3 . The gift bag of  claim 1 , wherein the moving attachment is a die cut shape. 
     
     
         4 . The gift bag of  claim 1 , wherein one or more of the front, back and two side panels are double-walled panels. 
     
     
         5 . The gift bag of  claim 1 , wherein the sound and motor modules are contained on the inside of the gift bag behind one or more of the front, back and two side panels. 
     
     
         6 . The gift bag of  claim 1 , wherein the push-button switch operates as a toggle wherein pressing the push-button a second time deactivates the sound and motor modules. 
     
     
         7 . A gift bag comprising:
 a gift bag having one open end for inserting one or more items into or removing one or more items therefrom;   one or more handles attached to the gift bag for carrying the gift bag;   one or more moving elements attached to an outside surface of the bag, each of the one or more moving elements attached to a motor module, the motor module operative to cause movement of the one or more moving elements;   a sound module operative to store replay at least one audio file; and   a switch which controls activation of the sound and motor modules.   
     
     
         8 . The gift bag of  claim 7 , wherein the switch is a toggle switch. 
     
     
         9 . The gift bag of  claim 7 , wherein the one or more moving elements combine with artwork printed on the gift bag to form a composite picture. 
     
     
         10 . The gift bag of  claim 7 , wherein the one or more moving elements are die cut shapes. 
     
     
         11 . The gift bag of  claim 7 , wherein the switch is a press-button switch. 
     
     
         12 . The gift bag of  claim 7 , wherein the switch is triggered by pulling on the one or more handles. 
     
     
         13 . The gift bag of  claim 7 , wherein the switch is triggered when a user lifts the gift bag. 
     
     
         14 . The gift bag of  claim 7 , wherein the one or more moving elements are on a front face of the gift bag. 
     
     
         15 . The gift bag of  claim 7 , wherein the one or more moving elements are attached to the motor module through an opening in the gift bag. 
     
     
         16 . A gift bag comprising:
 a gift bag having an opening thereon for the insertion and removal of items therein;   at least one handle attached to an upper portion of the gift bag proximate to the opening;   a mobile object visible on an outer surface of the gift bag;   a motor module contained and concealed on an inside surface of the gift bag, the mobile object attached to the motor module through an opening in the gift bag;   a switch operative to activate the motor module, the switch connected to the at least one handle, wherein picking up the bag by the at least one handle activates the motor module thereby causing movement of the mobile object.   
     
     
         17 . The gift bag of  claim 16 , wherein the mobile object is a die cut shape. 
     
     
         18 . The gift bag of  claim 16 , wherein the mobile object combines with printing on the gift bag to form a larger composite picture. 
     
     
         19 . The gift bag of  claim 16 , wherein the mobile object represents the mouth of a character or animal printed on the gift bag. 
     
     
         20 . The gift bag of  claim 16  further comprising a sound module which is operative to store and playback audio upon picking up the bag by the at least one handle.
