Abstract
A hat shaping assembly for being inserted into a hat such that the hat is retained in a round shape includes a panel that may be removably coupled to the hat. The panel is positionable within an interior of the hat so the panel is coextensive with a bill of the hat. A top edge of the panel curves downwardly toward each end of the panel. The panel is wing shaped.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . A hat shaping assembly configured to be inserted into a hat such that the hat is retained in a round shape, said assembly comprising:
a panel configured to be removably coupled to the hat, said panel being positionable within an interior of the hat such that said panel is coextensive with a bill of the hat; and a top edge of said panel curving downwardly toward each end of said panel such that said panel is wing shaped.
2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , further comprising said panel having a first end and a second end, said panel being elongated.
3 . The assembly according to claim 1 , further comprising said top edge of said panel curving downwardly between a center of said panel and each of a first end and a second end of said panel.
4 . The assembly according to claim 1 , further comprising a bottom edge of said panel having a first slot extending upwardly therein.
5 . The assembly according to claim 4 , further comprising said first slot being centrally positioned on said bottom edge of said panel such that said panel is bendable having said panel forming a U-shape along a lateral axis extending between each of a first and a second end of said panel.
6 . The assembly according to claim 1 , further comprising said panel being positionable between a sweatband of the hat and a gore of the hat.
7 . The assembly according to claim 6 , further comprising each of a first and second ends of said panel being positioned proximate an associated one of a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge of the bill of the hat.
8 . The assembly according to claim 1 , further comprising said panel retaining a gore of the hat in a rounded shape.
9 . A hat shaping assembly configured to be inserted into a hat such that the hat is retained in a round shape, said assembly comprising:
a panel having a first end and a second end, said panel being elongated; a top edge of said panel curving downwardly between a center of said panel and each of said first and second ends of said panel; a bottom edge of said panel having a first slot extending upwardly therein, said first slot being centrally positioned on said bottom edge of said panel such that said panel is bendable having said panel forming a U-shape along a lateral axis extending between each of said first and second ends of said panel; and said panel being positionable between a sweatband of the hat and a gore of the hat such that each of said first and second ends of said panel are positioned proximate an associated one of a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge of the bill of the hat, said panel retaining the gore of the hat in a rounded shape.
10 . A method of retaining a hat in a rounded shape, the steps of the method comprising:
a step of providing said panel having said first and second ends and said bottom edge and the hat having the sweatband, the bill and the gore; a step of positioning said panel between the sweatband and the gore of the hat such that said bottom edge of said is positioned adjacent to the bill of the hat having the gore of the hat being retained in a rounded shape; and a step of removing said panel from the hat when the hat is to be worn.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
