Treatment of Diseases and Conditions Caused by Increased Vascular Permeability
Abstract
The invention is directed to methods for the treatment of diseases and conditions caused by increased vascular permeability. The invention is also directed to methods for returning vascular permeability that is a symptom of a disease or condition to a homeostatic state. Specifically, the invention is directed to methods for the treatment of diseases and conditions caused by increased vascular permeability or returning vascular permeability that is a symptom of a disease or condition to a homeostatic state by administering to a subject suffering from such diseases and conditions and symptoms novel cellular factor-containing solution compositions (referred to herein as “CFS” compositions), including novel sustained-release cellular factor-containing solution compositions (referred to herein as “SR-CFS” compositions).
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method for treating diseases and conditions caused by increased vascular permeability in a patient in need thereof comprising administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of a CFS composition.
2 . The method of claim 1 wherein the CFS composition is ACCS.
3 . The method of claim 2 wherein the CFS composition, including ACCS, is formulated for topical or intranasal administration.
4 . The method of claim 2 wherein the CFS composition, including ACCS, is formulated for parenteral administration.
5 . The method of claim 2 wherein the CFS composition, including ACCS, is formulated for enteral administration.
6 . A method for returning vascular permeability that is a symptom of a disease or condition to a homeostatic state in a patient in need thereof comprising administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of a CFS composition.
7 . The method of claim 6 wherein the CFS composition is ACCS.
8 . The method of claim 7 wherein the CFS composition, including ACCS, is formulated for topical or intranasal administration.
9 . The method of claim 7 wherein the CFS composition, including ACCS, is formulated for parenteral administration.
10 . The method of claim 7 wherein the CFS composition, including ACCS, is formulated for enteral administration.
11 . A method for treating viral hemorrhagic fever in a patient in need thereof comprising administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of a CFS composition.
12 . The method of claim 11 wherein the CFS composition is ACCS.
13 . The method of claim 12 wherein the CFS composition, including ACCS, is formulated for topical or intranasal administration.
14 . The method of claim 12 wherein the CFS composition, including ACCS, is formulated for parenteral administration.
15 . The method of claim 12 wherein the CFS composition, including ACCS, is formulated for enteral administration.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
