68 . A targeted drug delivery vehicle comprising:
a drug composition and 5-50 of a targeted poly-amino-acid subunit, wherein the targeted poly-amino-acid subunit comprises a targeting amino acid chain conjugated to a fatty acid, and wherein the targeting amino acid chain is 15-20 amino acids of an apolipoprotein A-1 and binds to a SR-B1 receptor.

The target drug delivery vehicle of claim 68 , wherein the targeted drug delivery vehicle further comprises one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of: an unesterified cholesterol, a palmitoyl-oleoyl phosphatidylcholine, a phospholipid, an apolipoprotein A-1 protein, and a 15-20 amino acid chain of an apolipoprotein A-1 and binds to a SR-B1 receptor.
91 . The target drug delivery vehicle of claim 68 , wherein the targeted drug delivery vehicle has a diameter of about 20-300 nm.
92 . The target drug delivery vehicle of claim 68 , wherein the drug composition has a greater solubility than a drug alone.
93 . The target drug delivery vehicle of claim 68 , wherein the drug composition comprises a hydrophobic drug, a cytotoxic drug, an antibody drug, a protein or peptide drug, a mimetic peptide drug, a gene drug, a vaccine drug, or any combination or salt thereof.
94 . The target drug delivery vehicle of claim 68 , wherein the targeted drug delivery vehicle has a % payload recovery that is greater than 30%.
95 . The target drug delivery vehicle of claim 68 , wherein after administration in a body fluid of a subject, the targeted drug delivery vehicle maintains greater than 80% of the original drug concentration.

a drug composition and 5-50 of a targeted poly-amino-acid subunit, wherein the targeted poly-amino-acid subunit comprises a polynucleotide drug composition, a phospholipid, an excipient, and a targeting amino acid chain, and wherein the targeting amino acid chain is 15-20 amino acids of an apolipoprotein A-1 and binds to the SR-B1 receptor.
