Abstract

A system for managing an end-user's request for information and entertainment. This information can be retrieved using a mobile device or kiosk with a computer, using software over the Internet. Applications include any areas including commercial, industrial, and government where groups of people congregate such as trade shows, retail stores, restaurants, offices, manufacturing plants, and governmental buildings. The system provides both audio and text information and entertainment from a plurality of sources. These sources include information and entertainment from the local environment or ‘on-site’ information, and from a remote environment. These locations can also retrieve information from the end-user and/or end-user's device. This information can be product feedback, customer service opinions, product information requests, usage patterns, or the like.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A computer-implemented method of a communication session, the computer-implemented method comprising:
 configuring at least one specific processor to perform a process of:   providing at least two types of data to a user via a transceiver at a physical location;   receiving information associated with the physical location of the transceiver via electronic transmission over at least one network; and   providing access to both a first type of data and a second type of data to the user at the physical location via the transceiver in response to at least one predetermined action;   wherein the first type of data includes a first tagged content that is specifically generated in connection with one or more characteristics associated with the physical location; and   wherein the second type of data includes a second tagged content that is not specifically generated in connection with said one or more characteristics associated with the physical location.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising determining the physical location of the transceiver and selecting the first type of data based upon said physical location. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein the physical location is determined to be an area of relevance within a single unique location. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 3 , wherein the area of relevance is selected from a plurality of locations located at the single unique location. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 4 , wherein the first type of data is selected from data unique to one of the plurality of locations. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 2 , further comprising selecting the first type of data based upon an area of relevance determined by location of the physical location. 
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 6 , wherein the first type of data is associated with a product located within the area of relevance. 
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 7 , wherein the second type of data is a generic data associated with the product that is not specific to the physical location. 
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising determining movement of the transceiver between at a least a first point and a second point relative to the physical location. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 9 , wherein content of the first type of data is provided at least in part based upon said movement of the transceiver between the first point and the second point. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 9 , further comprising storing data regarding movement of the transceiver between the first point and the second point in a database. 
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 11 , further comprising providing access to the user to a different set of data at both the first point and the second point, each different set of data including both the first type of data and the second type of data. 
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 12 , wherein a first set of data provided at one of the first point and the second points is generated in response to a selection action of the user while a second set of data provided at one of the first point and the second points is not generated in response to any selection action of the user. 
     
     
         14 . A system comprising:
 an at least one network comprising:
 a first type of data; 
 a second type of data; and 
 a transceiver; 
   at least one specific processor to perform a process of:
 providing at least two types of data to a user via the transceiver at a physical location; 
 receiving information associated with the physical location of the transceiver via electronic transmission over the at least one network; and 
 providing access to both the first type of data and the second type of data to the user at the physical location via the transceiver in response to at least one predetermined action; 
 wherein the first type of data includes a first tagged content that is specifically generated in connection with one or more characteristics associated with the physical location; and 
 wherein the second type of data includes a second tagged content that is not specifically generated in connection with said one or more characteristics associated with the physical location. 
   
     
     
         15 . The system of  claim 14 , further comprising determining the physical location of the transceiver and selecting the first type of data based upon said physical location. 
     
     
         16 . The system of  claim 15 , wherein the physical location is determined to be an area of relevance within a single unique location. 
     
     
         17 . The system of  claim 16 , wherein the area of relevance is selected from a plurality of locations located at the single unique location. 
     
     
         18 . The system of  claim 17 , wherein the first type of data is selected from data unique to one of the plurality of locations. 
     
     
         19 . The system of  claim 15 , further comprising selecting the first type of data based upon an area of relevance determined by location of the physical location. 
     
     
         20 . The system of  claim 19 , wherein the first type of data is associated with a product located within the area of relevance.
