Abstract

A presentation system for presenting information to an audience within a space, the system comprising a control interface, a master presentation unit including a flat panel display screen and a processor, the screen including a master space and a slave presentation assembly including a slave presentation surface and a first projector for projecting images on the slave presentation surface, the master unit processor linkable to the interface to receive commands therefrom, the processor programmed to monitor for a command from the interface to flip an image from the master space to the slave space and, when a command to flip an image is received, causing the image from the master space to be presented in the slave space.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A presentation system comprising:
a portable presentation unit including a rectangular rotational display screen and a wireless transceiver; a wireless access point in communication with the wireless transceiver; a stationary presentation unit including a stationary display screen in communication with the wireless access point; a processor in communication with the wireless access point, wherein the processor is programmed to format an image for display on the rectangular rotational display in the portable presentation unit, to monitor the portable presentation unit for a command signal to flip an image to the stationary display screen in the stationary presentation unit, to produce the image on the stationary display, and to format a height and width of the image on the stationary display screen to correlate with the image on the rotational display in the portable presentation unit.

2 . The presentation system of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further programmed to format the images to adjust the number of images provided on the stationary display depending on the height and width orientation of the rotational display.

3 . The presentation system of claim 1 , wherein the rectangular rotational display screen is a mater presentation unit and the stationary presentation unit is a slave presentation unit.

4 . The presentation system of claim 1 wherein the processor is programmed to format the images on the stationary display to provide a different numbers of images when the images flipped from the rotational display are in a landscape format than in a portrait format.

5 . The presentation system of claim 1 wherein the processor is programmed to simultaneously presents at least two adjacent images in the stationary display in a portrait format and one image in a landscape format.

6 . The presentation system of claim 1 wherein the stationary presentation unit includes at least one projector.

7 . The presentation system of claim 1 wherein the rotational display screen comprises a touch sensitive flat screen display device.

8 . The presentation system of claim 1 , wherein the portable presentation unit further comprises an interface, the interface enabling a user to provide a command signal to the processor designating the portable presentation unit as a master unit.

9 . The presentation system of claim 1 , wherein the portable presentation unit further comprises an interface, the interface enabling a user to provide a command signal to the processor designating at least one other portable or stationary display unit as a slave.

10 . The presentation system of claim 1 , wherein when a command signal to flip an image is received by the processor, the processor is programmed to correlate the image on the rotational display screen with an image identifier.

11 . The presentation system of claim 10 , further comprising a memory in communication with the processor, and wherein the processor is programmed to store the image identifier in memory.

12 . The presentation system of claim 1 , wherein the portable presentation unit further comprises an interface, the interface enabling a user to provide a command signal to the processor to retrieve an image from retrieve an image from the stationary presentation unit.

13 . The presentation system of claim 1 , wherein the rectangular rotational display comprises a writable and erasable surface.
