Method and system for monitoring and recommending relevant products

Abstract

Techniques for a product search grid are disclosed herein. The method for presenting a grid includes receiving data in association with a plurality of products from one or more merchant websites; presenting a data grid including cells based on the data, wherein each cell of the cells represents a product of the products or a replacement of a product of the products; displaying information regarding the products or the replacements of the products in the cells; and updating the contents of cells of the data grid automatically in real time in response to new data received from the merchant websites.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A computer-implemented method comprising:
 receiving data in association with a plurality of products from one or more merchant websites;   presenting a data grid including cells based on the data, wherein each cell of the cells represents a product of the products or a replacement of the product of the products; and   displaying a three-dimensional diagram for at least one cell of the cells representing a specific product or a replacement of the specific product;   wherein one dimension of the three-dimensional diagram is designated to multiple time points, and the three-dimensional diagram illustrates historical statuses of the product at the time points.   
     
     
         2 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 updating the three-dimensional diagram in response to newly received data in association with the product or the replacement of the product in real time.   
     
     
         3 . The computer-implemented method of  claim 1 , wherein said displaying comprises:
 transmitting instructions to at least one client device to display a three-dimensional diagram on the client device, the three-dimensional diagram is for at least one cell of the cells representing a product or a replacement of a product.
