Abstract

An industrial automation component may receive identification information associated with a user of the industrial automation component and determine whether a profile that corresponds to the identification information exists in a database. When the profile does not exist, the industrial automation component may receive a graphical interface template configured to be displayed on a graphical user interface (GUI) associated with the industrial automation component, one or more parameter names configured to associate one or more measurements acquired by the industrial automation component, pre-load information comprising data configured to enable the industrial automation component to operate, or any combination thereof. The industrial automation component may then and generate a user interface view for the GUI based on the graphical interface template, the parameter names, the pre-load information, or any combination thereof.

 receive location information associated with the industrial automation component; and adjust the user interface view based on the location information.

         8 . The industrial automation component of claim 1 , configured to:
 receive credential information associated with a user of the industrial automation component; and adjust the user interface view based on the credential information.

         9 . The industrial automation component of claim 1 , configured to:
 receive production schedule information, material availability information, power cost information, or any combination thereof; and adjust the user interface view based on the production schedule information, the material availability information, the power cost information, or any combination thereof.

         10 . A system, comprising:
 a graphical user interface configured to display a user interface view comprising one or more visualizations representing one or more industrial automation components associated with an industrial automation system; a processor configured to:
 receive a view scale input that corresponds to a scale at which the industrial automation components are displayed in the user interface view; and
 adjust the user interface view based on the view scale input.

         11 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the view scale input comprises a slider visualization.

         12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein a first end of the slider visualization corresponds to displaying a larger portion of the industrial automation components as compared to a second end of the slider visualization.

         13 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the processor is configured to adjust the user interface view to display one or more data field visualizations based on a portion of the industrial automation components being depicted on the user interface view.

         14 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the processor is configured to adjust the user interface view to display one or more command list visualizations based on a portion of the industrial automation components being depicted on the user interface view.

         15 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the view scale input is received via a keyboard input, a mouse input, or any combination thereof.

         16 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising computer-executable instructions configured to:
 receive identification information associated with a user of an industrial automation component; determine whether a profile that corresponds to the identification exists in a database; when the profile does not exist, receive:
 a graphical interface template configured to be displayed on a graphical user interface (GUI) associated with the industrial automation component;
 one or more parameter names configured to associate one or more measurements acquired by the industrial automation component;
 pre-load information comprising data configured to enable the industrial automation component to operate;
