Pneumatic tire

Abstract

A tire has a projecting portion raised from an outer surface of a side portion. A top surface of the projecting portion forms a mark. A colored portion is formed in a region defined by a profile line offset with respect to an outer edge formed by the top surface and an outer side surface. Formed on the top surface between the colored portion and the outer edge is a non-colored portion which exposes a base color of the tire.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A pneumatic tire comprising:
 a projecting portion raised from an outer surface of a side portion and flaying a top surface which forms a mark, the projecting portion having a side surface extending between the outer surface and the top surface; and   a colored portion formed in an offset manner with respect to an edge formed by the top surface and the side surface, the colored portion being different from a base color of the tire in at least one of hue, brightness, and chroma.   
     
     
         2 . The pneumatic tire according to  claim 1 , wherein the colored portion is formed in a region on the top surface defined by a profile line offset with respect to the edge formed by the top surface and the side surface, and
 wherein the tire includes a non-colored portion which is formed on the top surface between the colored portion and the edge, and exposes the base color of the tire.   
     
     
         3 . The pneumatic tire according to  claim 2 , wherein an offset amount which is a distance between the profile line and the edge is set in a tire rotating direction to a value which falls within a range of 0.5% to 40% of a maximum size of the top side in the tire rotating direction. 
     
     
         4 . The pneumatic tire according to  claim 2 , wherein an offset amount which is a distance between the profile line and the edge is set in a tire radial direction to a value which falls within a range of 0.5% to 40% of a maximum size of the top surface in the tire radial direction. 
     
     
         5 . The pneumatic tire according to  claim 3 , wherein the offset amount is set to a fixed value regardless of a position on the profile line. 
     
     
         6 . The pneumatic tire according to  claim 3 , Wherein the offset amount differs with respect to at least one of a tire radial direction and the tire rotating direction depending on a position on the profile line. 
     
     
         7 . The pneumatic tire according to  claim 2 , wherein an area of the colored portion is not less than 50% of an area of the region defined by the profile line. 
     
     
         8 . The pneumatic tire according to  claim 2 , wherein at least a portion of the profile line is inclined with respect to a corresponding portion of the edge. 
     
     
         9 . The pneumatic tire according to  claim 2 , wherein the colored portion changes in at least one of hue, brightness, and chroma in a tire rotating direction. 
     
     
         10 . The pneumatic tire according to  claim 2 , wherein the colored portion changes in at least hue, brightness, and chroma in a direction from a center side to an outer side of the region surrounded by the profile line. 
     
     
         11 . The pneumatic tire according to  claim 1 , wherein the top surface includes a recessed portion expressing a body portion of the mark, and a brim portion of the mark formed so as to surround the recessed portion, and
 wherein the colored portion is formed on a top surface of the brim portion so as to be inwardly offset from an outer edge of the top surface.   
     
     
         12 . A pneumatic tire comprising:
 a recessed portion indented from an outer surface of a side portion and having a display bottom surface forming a mark; and   a colored portion formed on the display bottom surface so as to be inwardly offset from an outer edge of the display bottom surface.   
     
     
         13 . A pneumatic tire comprising:
 a recessed portion or a projecting portion formed on a side portion and forming a mark; and   a colored portion formed on at least a portion of a periphery along an outer edge of the mark.
