Abstract
A handy pump has a head and a body. A display window is disposed on an outer circumference of the head to surround the head. A light-guide plate is disposed to guide light from a light source to the display window. The light source is controlled to display operating states of the handy pump. A clearance and a clearance for ventilation are defined within a guide cap when the guide cap is placed to cover a plug and a container. The handy pump discharges air downwardly from inside of the guide cap along the outside of the plug and the container.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A handy pump, comprising:
an electric pump device which sucks or discharges air through a nozzle; and a handy case which accommodates the electric pump device, wherein the case comprises: an open end in which the nozzle opens; and a head disposed on an opposite side of the open end, and wherein the head includes a display window which extends long and narrow along an outer circumference of the head and emits light to display operating state of the electric pump device.
2 . The handy pump in claim 1 , further comprising:
a light source accommodated in the case, lighting condition of the light source being changed to display the operating state of the electric pump device; and a light-guide plate accommodated in the case, the light-guide plate having an incident surface which receives light of the light source, a light-guide portion which guides light received from the incident surface towards the display window, and an emission surface which is arranged in the display window or on an inside of the display window and emits light guided by the light-guide portion.
3 . The handy pump in claim 2 , wherein
the light-guide plate is a single plate which has the emission surface on an outer rim extending along the display window.
4 . The handy pump in claim 2 , wherein
the light-guide plate is a battery holder which holds in the case a battery for supplying electric power to the light source.
5 . The handy pump in claim 4 , wherein
the light-guide plate includes: a container section formed in a semi-cylindrical shape which accommodates and holds the battery; and a plate portion which spreads towards the display window on an outside of the container section, wherein the incident surface is disposed on the container section, and wherein the light-guide plate further has a plurality of reflective surfaces which are disposed on an opposite side facing the incident surface and reflect light received by the incident surface towards different directions.
6 . The handy pump in claim 5 , wherein
the incident surface is a lens surface which converges light from the light source.
7 . The handy pump in claim 2 , wherein
the light-guide plate is a board holder which supports a circuit board on which a control circuit for controlling the lighting condition of the light source is mounted.
8 . The handy pump in claim 7 , wherein
the light-guide plate and the circuit board are arranged in parallel, and wherein the light source is arranged to supply light to the incident surface of the light-guide plate.
9 . The handy pump in claim 2 , wherein
the display window extends continuously in an annular manner along the outer circumference of the head.
10 . The handy pump in claim 2 , wherein
the head has a plurality of display windows extending long and narrow along the outer circumference thereof, and the a plurality of display windows being arranged annularly and intermittently along the outer circumference of the head.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
