Abstract
The invention provides polynucleotide sequences isolated from plants encoding transcription factors. Polypeptides encoded by the polynucleotides are also provided. Products and methods of use are disclosed.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 .- 15 . (canceled)
16 . A DNA construct comprising a polynucleotide comprising SEQ ID NO: 1862 and a heterologous promoter, wherein said polynucleotide encodes a plant transcription factor, and wherein said heterologous promoter and said polynucleotide are operably linked.
17 . A plant cell comprising the DNA construct of claim 16 .
18 . A method for producing a transgenic plant, comprising (a) transforming a plant cell with the DNA construct of claim 16 ; (b) culturing the transformed plant cell under conditions that promote growth of a plant, wherein the plant cell expresses the plant transcription factor encoded by the polynucleotide in the DNA construct, and wherein the plant is a transgenic plant that exhibits a phenotype that is different from a plant of the same species that does not contain said DNA construct.
19 . A transgenic plant transformed with the DNA construct of claim 16 and expressing the transcription factor encoded by the polynucleotide in the DNA construct, wherein the transgenic plant exhibits a phenotype that is different from a plant of the same species that does not contain said DNA construct.
20 . The transgenic plant of claim 19 , wherein the transgenic plant is a transgenic cottonwood, a transgenic pine or a transgenic eucalyptus tree.
21 . Wood and wood products of the transgenic plant of claim 19 .Cited by (0)
