Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method of requesting a content provider to locate a remote object, comprising:
providing a first interface configured to allow a plurality of tappers to join a content sharing community as members of the content sharing community; providing a second interface configured to render a map that displays representations of the members; providing a third interface configured to allow a first one of the plurality of tappers to select a member from the rendered map as a content provider, and wherein the first tapper and the content provider are unknown to the other prior to the first tapper selecting the content provider; conveying a solicitation from the first tapper to the content provider to locate an object; and conveying a video feed of the object to the first tapper, derived from a device operated or carried by the content provider, wherein the video feed comprises a near-real time, first-person experience of the object of the content provider.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the solicitation comprises a description of the object and a search boundary.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the third interface allows the tapper to select a plurality of members from the rendered map as content providers.

4 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising a step of conveying solicitations from the first tapper to the plurality of content providers to locate an object simultaneously.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the third interface allows the tapper to select the content provider based on a reputation of the content provider.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the solicitation can be updated on a regular basis.
