Abstract

Devices, systems and methods for debris removal are provided comprising a flexible chute having a mouth, a body, and an exit. The flexible material can be collapsible. The flexible material is rip-stop nylon. When the chute is used, a user can take the chute in a collapsed form and scale a tree for pruning. Upon reaching a top area of the tree, the user secures the chute to the tree and allows the body and exit portions to deploy by releasing those sections. Gravity allows the body and exit portions to fall to towards the ground. As debris is removed from the tree, it is placed into the mouth and passes through the body and out exit. If desired the exit can be placed in other desired locations such as proximate to a wood chipping device for shredding debris or proximate to a truck bed, dump box or trailer for catching the debris as it exits the chute. Thus, the chute can safely collect, control and direct debris generated from pruning vegetation.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 20 . (canceled)

21 . A tree trimmings removal device comprising:
a flexible tree trimmings removal chute having a collapsed state and a deployed state, the removal chute further comprising:
 a mouth,
 a removal chute securement connector;
at least one body portion continuous about a perimeter of the body portion; and
 and an exit.

22 . The tree trimmings removal device of claim 21 , wherein the at least one body portion is rip-stop nylon.

23 . The tree trimmings removal device of claim 21 , wherein the tree trimmings removal chute is collapsible by compressing the mouth towards the exit.

24 . The tree trimmings removal device of claim 23 , wherein the tree trimmings removal chute is maintained in a collapsed configuration by a fastener.

25 . The tree trimmings removal device of claim 21 , comprising multiple body portions.

26 . The tree trimmings removal device of claim 25 , wherein the multiple body portions are interconnected by at least one of Velcro, zippers, hooks and loops, snaps, and pins.

27 . The tree trimmings removal device of claim 21 , wherein the removal chute securement connector comprises a belt for securing the chute to a tree.

28 . The tree trimmings removal device of claim 21 , further comprising reinforcing members.

29 . The tree trimmings removal device of claim 21 , wherein the exit is directed toward a target area.

30 . The tree trimmings removal device of claim 29 , wherein the target area is at least one of the ground, a wood chipper, a truck bed, a dump box and a trailer.

31 . The tree trimmings removal device of claim 21 , wherein the mouth has a mouth cross-sectional area, the at least one body portion has a body cross-sectional area, and the exit has an exit cross-sectional area, and the mouth cross-sectional area is larger than the body cross-sectional area and the exit cross-sectional area.

32 . A tree trimmings debris removal system, comprising:
a body comprising a body cross-sectional area; the body having a mouth comprising a mouth cross-sectional area; the body having an exit comprising an exit cross-sectional area; wherein the mouth, the body and the exit comprise multiple interconnected and flexible tree trimming debris containing chute material body portions; wherein the chute material body portions are continuous about a perimeter of each chute material body portion; and further comprising reinforcing members attached the chute material body portions to maintain the chute material body portions in open positions; the tree trimmings debris removal system having a collapsed state and a deployed state; and wherein the mouth further comprises a securement connector.

33 . The tree trimmings debris removal system of claim 32 , wherein the flexible chute material body portions are rip-stop nylon.

34 . The tree trimmings debris removal system of claim 32 , wherein the multiple body portions are interconnected by at least one of Velcro, zippers, hooks and loops, snaps, and pins.

35 . The tree trimmings debris removal system of claim 32 , wherein the exit is directed toward a target area.

36 . The tree trimmings debris removal system of claim 35 , wherein the target area is at least one of: the ground, a wood chipper, a truck bed, a dump box and a trailer.
