Abstract

A protective cover for a portable device is provided. The protective cover includes a first frame and a second frame. The first frame has a pivot groove and the second frame includes a pivot end. The pivot end is removably disposed in the pivot groove. The second frame can be rotated relative to the first frame, so that the first frame and the second frame can be separated or engaged. While the first frame and the second frame are engaged, the first frame and the second define an accommodating space for receiving the portable device.

Claims

What is claimed is:

1 . A protective cover for accommodating a portable device, comprising:
a first frame, one side of which is formed with at least one pivot groove; a second frame, one side of which is formed with at least one pivot end, wherein each of the pivot ends is removably pivotally connected in the respective pivot groove, the first frame is rotatable with respect to the second frame for opening and closing the first frame and the second frame, each of the pivot grooves is formed with an alignment hole, each of the pivot ends is formed with a through hole, when each of the pivot ends is disposed in the respective pivot groove, each of the alignment holes is aligned with the respective through hole; and at least one fixing unit passing through one of the alignment holes and one of the through holes, for pivotally connecting the pivot end in the pivot groove; wherein when the first frame and the second frame are closed upon each other, the first frame and the second frame define an accommodating space, and the portable device is accommodated in the accommodating space.

2 . The protective cover according to claim 1 , further comprising a buffer pad positioned inside the first frame, wherein when the portable device is accommodated in the accommodating space, the buffer pad is positioned between the first frame and the portable device.

3 . The protective cover according to claim 2 , further comprising at least one key having a protruding portion, wherein the first frame further has a touch key window, the key is disposed inside the touch key window, the buffer pad has a fixing hole, the protruding portion passes through the fixing hole, and when the portable device is accommodated in the accommodating space, the buffer pad fixes the key between the first frame and the portable device, and the key is adjacent to a key of the portable device.

4 . The protective cover according to claim 1 , further comprising a fixing stand, wherein the first frame further has a fixing groove, and the fixing stand clamps the fixing groove, propping the portable device accommodated in the protective cover on the fixing stand.

5 . The protective cover according to claim 1 , wherein the first frame further comprises a first side wall and a first extension portion connected to the first side wall, the first extension portion extends toward the center of the first frame, the second frame further comprises a second side wall and a second extension portion connected to the second side wall, the second extension portion extends toward the center of the second frame, when the first frame and the second frame are closed upon each other, the first side wall is connected to the second side wall, and the first extension portion and the second extension portion are positioned at two opposite sides of the protective cover.

6 . The protective cover according to claim 2 , wherein the buffer pad includes a first buffer portion, a second buffer portion, and a third buffer portion, the second buffer portion is connected to the first buffer portion and the third buffer portion, the first buffer portion contacts the first extension portion, and the second buffer portion contacts the first side wall, and when the first frame and the second frame are closed upon each other, the third buffer portion is positioned between the first side wall and the second side wall.

7 . The protective cover according to claim 1 , wherein the first frame further includes a latch groove, the second frame further includes a latch hook, when the first frame and the second frame are closed upon each other, the latch hook is latched onto the latch groove for fastening the first frame and second frame.

8 . The protective cover according to claim 1 , further comprising a back cover disposed between the first frame and the second frame, and in contact with the second frame, wherein when the portable device is accommodated in the accommodating space, the back cover is positioned between the portable device and the second frame.
