Abstract
A cryogenic device having a filter device fluidly connected between a valve and a cooling fluid cartridge. The filter device filters solid and fluid impurities received from the cartridge. The filter device also captures fluid impurities from the cryogenic device when not in use.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A cryogenic device comprising: a handpiece portion having a cryogenic coolant pathway configured to fluidly couple to a detachable needle probe; and a cartridge holder coupled to the handpiece portion and configured for removeably holding a pressurized cartridge; and a filter device coupled to the cartridge holder, the filter device having a distal filter end for fluidly coupling the filter device to the cryogenic coolant pathway and a proximal filter end for fluidly coupling to the pressurized cartridge; wherein the filter device comprises: at least one particulate filter configured to filter particulates; and a molecular filter configured to capture fluid contaminants received from the cartridge and from the coolant pathway when not in fluid communication with the cartridge.
