Abstract

A notification system comprises a plurality of claim checks and a plurality of communication device identifiers. The notification system further comprises a messaging module that is configured to receive an electronic notification of an event. The messaging module is further configured to associate at least one of the claim checks and one of the communication device identifiers with the event. The messaging module is also configured to generate a message that contains the associated claim check and transmit the message to a communications device identified by the communication device identifier. In one embodiment, the notification system further comprises a retrieval module that is responsive to a request to access the event. In another embodiment, the messaging module is configured to receive an electronic notification of a second event and associate the claim check and another communication device identifier with the message.

1 - 68 . (canceled)

69 . A method of filtering event notification messages to a physical wireless communication device, comprising:
pre-registering, at a physical registration server, a physical wireless consumer communication device requesting receipt of event notification messages of designated subject matter; receiving, at a physical notification server, a plurality of event notification messages; filtering, by said physical notification server, said plurality of event notification messages to a sub-plurality that include content matching said designated subject matter preregistered for said physical wireless consumer communication device; assigning a claim check, from among a pool of claim checks, pointing to at least one of said sub-plurality of event notification messages; transmitting, from said physical notification server to said pre-registered physical wireless consumer communication device, a notification message including said assigned claim check; authenticating a user response message from said pre-registered physical wireless consumer communication device relating to said claim check; and triggering, in response to said authentication of said user response message, transmission of said at least one of said sub-plurality of event notification messages to said pre-registered physical wireless consumer communication device.

70 . The method of filtering event notification messages to a physical wireless communication device according to claim 69 , further comprising:
associating said user response message with a second one of said sub-plurality of event notification messages after said user response message is authenticated.

71 . The method of filtering event notification messages to a physical wireless communication device according to claim 69 , further comprising:
disassociating said user response message from said at least one of said sub-plurality of event notification messages after said user response message is authenticated.

72 . The method of filtering event notification messages to a physical wireless communication device according to claim 71 , further comprising:
associating said user response message with a second one of said sub-plurality of event notification messages after said user response message is disassociated from said at least one of said sub-plurality of event notification messages.

73 . The method of filtering event notification messages to a physical wireless communication device according to claim 69 , further comprising:
identifying said at least one of said sub-plurality of event notification messages based on said claim check; wherein said claim check is assigned to said at least one of said sub-plurality of event notification messages after said user response message is authenticated.

74 . The method of filtering event notification messages to a physical wireless communication device according to claim 69 , further comprising:
associating said physical wireless consumer communication device with an entity.

75 . A method of filtering event notification messages to a physical wireless communication device, comprising:
pre-registering, at a physical registration server, a physical wireless consumer communication device requesting receipt of event notification messages of designated subject matter; receiving, at a physical notification server, a plurality of event notification messages; filtering, by said physical notification server, said plurality of event notification messages to a sub-plurality that include content matching said designated subject matter preregistered for said physical wireless consumer communication device; assigning a claim check, from among a pool of claim checks, pointing to said sub-plurality of event notification messages; transmitting, from said physical notification server to said pre-registered physical wireless consumer communication device, a notification message including said assigned claim check; authenticating a user response message from said pre-registered physical wireless consumer communication device relating to said claim check; and triggering, in response to said authentication of said user response message, transmission of said sub-plurality of event notification messages to said pre-registered physical wireless consumer communication device.

76 . The method of filtering event notification messages to a physical wireless communication device according to claim 75 , further comprising:
associating said user response message with a second sub-plurality of event notification messages received by said event notification server subsequent to said user response message being authenticated.

77 . The method of filtering event notification messages to a physical wireless communication device according to claim 75 , further comprising:
disassociating said user response message from said sub-plurality of event notification messages after said user response message is authenticated.

78 . The method of filtering event notification messages to a physical wireless communication device according to claim 77 , further comprising:
associating said user response message with a second sub-plurality of event notification messages received by said event notification server subsequent to said user response message being disassociated from said sub-plurality of event notification messages.

79 . The method of filtering event notification messages to a physical wireless communication device according to claim 75 , further comprising:
identifying said sub-plurality of event notification messages based on said claim check; wherein said claim check is assigned to said sub-plurality of event notification messages after said user response message is authenticated.

80 . The method of filtering event notification messages to a physical wireless communication device according to claim 75 , further comprising:
associating said physical wireless consumer communication device with an entity.

81 . The method of filtering event notification messages to a physical wireless communication device according to claim 75 , further comprising:
associating said user response message with a second sub-plurality of event notification messages received by said event notification server subsequent to said filtering.
