Abstract
A treatment regimen for psoriasis includes administering to a patient diagnosed with psoriasis periodic doses of a combination including emodin and digoxin, or a combination of emodin, digoxin, Sheng Di Huang, Da Huang and Jin Yin Hua, or a combination of emodin, digoxin, Sheng Di Huang, Da Huang, Jin Yin Hua, Mu Dan Pi, Di Gu Pi, Xian He Cao and Chun Gen Pi.

A method of treating inflammation, comprising administering to a patient diagnosed with an inflammatory ailment a treatment regimen, wherein said treatment regimen includes administering a medicinal combination consisting essentially of Sheng Di Huang and Da Huang, wherein said treatment regimen comprises at least 50 wt. % of said combination.
28 . The method of claim 27 , comprising administering the medicinal combination topically.
29 . The method of claim 27 , comprising administering the medicinal combination orally.
30 . The method of claim 27 , comprising administering the medicinal combination subcutaneously.
31 . The method of claim 27 , comprising administering the medicinal combination intravenously.
32 . The method of claim 27 , comprising treating chronic inflammation.
33 . The method of claim 27 , further comprising administering Jin Yin Hua, wherein the treatment regimen comprises at least 10 wt. % of said Jin Yin Hua.

The method of claim 33 , comprising administering multiple doses of said medicinal combination over a course of said treatment regimen, and wherein over the course of said treatment regimen, the Sheng Di Huang is administered in an amount of 25 grams to 60 grams, the Da Huang is administered in an amount of 10 grams to 30 grams, and the Jin Yin Hua is administered in an amount of 10 grams to 30 grams.
35 . The method of claim 33 , comprising administering the treatment regimen topically.
36 . The method of claim 33 , comprising administering the treatment regimen orally.
37 . The method of claim 33 , comprising administering the treatment regimen subcutaneously.
38 . The method of claim 33 , comprising administering the treatment regimen intravenously.
39 . The method of claim 33 , wherein over a course of said treatment regimen the method comprises administering at least 13.3 grams of said Sheng Di Huang and at least 3.3 grams of said Da Huang and at least 3.3 grams of said Jin Yin Hua.
40 . The method of claim 33 , wherein the treatment regimen comprises at least 50% Sheng Di Huang, at least 12.5% Da Huang and at least 12.5% Jin Yin Hua.
41 . The method of claim 33 , comprising treating chronic inflammation.
42 . The method of claim 41 , comprising testing the patient for chronic inflammation.
43 . The method of claim 33 , comprising testing the patient for an inflammatory ailment.
44 . The method of claim 27 , comprising testing the patient for an inflammatory ailment.
45 . A method of treating inflammation, comprising administering to a patient diagnosed with an inflammatory ailment multiple doses of a medicinal combination over a course of a treatment regimen, wherein said medicinal combination consisting essentially of Sheng Di Huang, Da Huang, and Jin Yin Hua, wherein the treatment regimen comprises at least 60 wt. % of said combination.
46 . The method of claim 45 , wherein over the course of said treatment regimen, the Sheng Di Huang is administered in an amount of 25 grams to 45 grams, the Da Huang is administered in an amount of 10 grams to 25 grams, and the Jin Yin Hua is administered in an amount of 10 grams to 25 grams.
47 . The method of claim 45 , wherein over the course of said treatment regimen, the Sheng Di Huang is administered in an amount of 30 grams to 45 grams, the Da Huang is administered in an amount of 15 grams to 25 grams, and the Jin Yin Hua is administered in an amount of 15 grams to 25 grams.
48 . The method of claim 45 , wherein over the course of said treatment regimen, the Sheng Di Huang is administered in an amount of 30 grams to 40 grams, the Da Huang is administered in an amount of 15 grams to 20 grams, and the Jin Yin Hua is administered in an amount of 15 grams to 20 grams.
49 . The method of claim 45 , comprising administering the medicinal combination topically.
50 . The method of claim 45 , comprising administering the medicinal combination orally.
51 . The method of claim 45 , comprising administering the medicinal combination subcutaneously.
52 . The method of claim 45 , comprising administering the medicinal combination intravenously.
53 . The method of claim 45 , comprising administering over the course of said treatment regimen at least 13.3 grams of said Sheng Di Huang and at least 3.3 grams of said Da Huang and at least 3.3 grams of said Jin Yin Hua.
54 . The method of claim 45 , wherein the treatment regimen comprises at least 50% Sheng Di Huang, at least 12.5% Da Huang and at least 12.5% Jin Yin Hua.
55 . The method of claim 45 , comprising treating chronic inflammation.
56 . The method of claim 55 , comprising testing the patient for chronic inflammation.
