Herbal Combinations for Treatment of a Skin Condition

Abstract

A method and medicine for treating melanoma, BCC (basal cell carcinoma) or psoriasis or other inflammatory skin disease, or a combination thereof, comprising applying or injecting to an infected skin area of a patient diagnosed with melanoma, BCC (basal cell carcinoma) or psoriasis or other inflammatory skin disease, or a combination thereof, a treatment regimen that includes periodic doses of a molecular combination of emodin and digoxin and/or an herbal combination of Da Huang and Sheng Di Huang.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A medicinal composition for treating melanoma, BCC (basal cell carcinoma) or psoriasis comprising an active component consisting essentially of a combination of effective amounts of Da Huang and Sheng Di Huang. 
     
     
         2 . A medicinal composition for treating melanoma, BCC (basal cell carcinoma) or psoriasis comprising an active component consisting essentially of a combination of effective amounts of Da Huang, Sheng Di Huang and Jin Yin Hua. 
     
     
         3 . The medicinal composition of  claim 1 , comprising a cream configured for topical application to affected skin. 
     
     
         4 . The medicinal composition of  claim 1 , wherein Da Huang is present in an amount of 13.3-60 grams and Sheng Di Huang is present in an amount of 3.3-40 grams. 
     
     
         5 . The medicinal composition of  claim 2 , comprising a cream configured for topical application to affected skin. 
     
     
         6 . The medicinal composition of  claim 1 , further comprising effective amounts of Mu Dan Pi, Di Gu Pi, Xian He Cao and Chun Gen Pi. 
     
     
         7 . The medicinal composition of  claim 1 , further comprising effective amounts of Mu Dan Pi, Di Gu Pi, Xian He Cao, Hun Gen Pi, Zi Cao, Xuan Shen, Shi Gao, Bai Shao, Chi Shao, Hong Hua, Da Qing Ye, Qing Dai, Bai Zhu, Shi Wei and Rou Gui. 
     
     
         8 . The medicinal composition of  claim 2 , further comprising effective amounts of Mu Dan Pi, Di Gu Pi, Xian He Cao and Chun Gen Pi. 
     
     
         9 . The medicinal composition of  claim 2 , further comprising effective amounts of Zi Cao, Xuan Shen, Shi Gao, Bai Shao, Chi Shao, Hong Hua, Da Qing Ye, Qing Dai, Bai Zhu, Shi Wei and Rou Gui. 
     
     
         10 . The medicinal composition of  claim 6 , comprising a cream configured for topical application to affected skin. 
     
     
         11 . A medicinal composition for treating melanoma, BCC (basal cell carcinoma) or psoriasis comprising an active component consisting essentially of a combination of effective amounts of Da Huang and Jin Yin Hua. 
     
     
         12 . The medicinal composition of  claim 11 , further comprising Mu Dan Pi, Di Gu Pi, Xian He Cao and Chun Gen Pi. 
     
     
         13 . The medicinal composition of  claim 11 , further comprising effective amounts of Zi Cao, Xuan Shen, Shi Gao, Bai Shao, Chi Shao, Hong Hua, Da Qing Ye, Qing Dai, Bai Zhu, Shi Wei and Rou Gui. 
     
     
         14 . A medicinal composition for treating melanoma, BCC (basal cell carcinoma) or psoriasis comprising an active component consisting essentially of a combination of effective amounts of Sheng Di Huang and Jin Yin Hua. 
     
     
         15 . The medicinal composition of  claim 14 , further comprising effective amounts of Mu Dan Pi, Di Gu Pi, Xian He Cao and Chun Gen Pi. 
     
     
         16 . The medicinal composition of  claim 14 , further comprising effective amounts of Zi Cao, Xuan Shen, Shi Gao, Bai Shao, Chi Shao, Hong Hua, Da Qing Ye, Qing Dai, Bai Zhu, Shi Wei and Rou Gu. 
     
     
         17 . The medicinal composition of  claim 2 , wherein Da Huang is present in an amount of 13.3-60 grams and Sheng Di Huang is present in an amount of 3.3-40 grams and Jin Yin Hua is present in an amount of 3.3-40 grams. 
     
     
         18 . A medicinal composition for treating melanoma, BCC (basal cell carcinoma) or psoriasis, comprising a combination of Sheng Di Huang, Da Huang and Jin Yin Hua;
 wherein said combination comprises between approximately 18% and 90% of said Sheng Di Huang, between approximately 4% and 64% of said Da Huang, and between approximately 4% and 64% of said Jin Yin Hua, and   wherein said combination comprises at least approximately 60 wt. % of said medicinal composition.   
     
     
         19 . The medicinal composition of  claim 18 , comprising at least 40% of said Sheng Di Huang, at least 10% of said Da Huang, and at least 10% of said Jin Yin Hua. 
     
     
         20 . The medicinal composition of  claim 18 , wherein said combination comprises at least approximately 75 wt. % of said medicinal composition.
