Abstract

A method of conveying a command to a user using a practice system is provided. The method includes detecting movement of the user using a sensor; selecting a command from a list of pre-determined commands; and conveying the command to the user using a signaler.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A training command station comprising:
a support structure; a housing supported by the support structure; a circuit board secured in the housing; a sensor secured in the housing and communicatively coupled to the circuit board; a signaler secured in the housing and communicatively coupled to the circuit board; and a power source electronically coupled to at least one of the circuit board, the sensor, or the signaler.

2 . The training command station of claim 1 , wherein at least one command is programmed on the circuit board.

3 . The training command station of claim 1 , wherein the signaler comprises a speaker for producing audible commands.

4 . The training command station of claim 1 , wherein the signaler comprises a light for producing visual commands.

5 . The training command station of claim 1 , wherein the sensor is a motion sensor configured to detect a user of the command station.

6 . The training command station of claim 2 , wherein the signaler is configured to generate a signal representing the at least one command programmed on the circuit board.

7 . The training command station of claim 1 , further comprising a timer communicatively coupled to the circuit board for initiating a command.

         8 . A method of training comprising:
providing at least one command station comprising a sensor, a signaler, a circuit board, a power source, and at least one command programmed on the circuit board; configuring the sensor to detect at least one user; and configuring the signaler to convey at least one command to the at least one user.

9 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising providing a timer to initiate a subsequent command to the user.

10 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising configuring the sensor to detect the at least one user after a command is conveyed and to convey a subsequent command.

11 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising providing at least one target.

12 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the at least one command instructs the user to interact with the at least one target.

13 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising providing at least one additional command station on a playing surface.

14 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the signaler conveys the at least one command by at least one of an audio or visual signal.
