Abstract

Body art, such as tattoos, are integrated or extended onto clothing. Clothing patterns may be integrated or extended onto body art, such as temporary tattoos. In one embodiment, a computer analyzes an image of a body with a tattoo and generates an image suitable for application to clothing. When applied to clothing, the image displays the portion of the tattoo that is covered by the clothing, or may extend the appearance of the tattoo from the skin to the adjacent clothing.

11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the undergarment is a bra.

12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the contour lines or patterns are bra straps.

13 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the undergarment is underpants.

14 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the undergarment is an undershirt.

15 . A method for generating an article of clothing, comprising:
generating at least one image of at least a portion of the area of the body with a birthmark or scar; printing the at least one image of the birthmark or scar on the article of clothing at substantially the location where the clothing would normally cover the birthmark or scar.

16 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising extending the printed birthmark or scar on the article of clothing beyond the birthmark or scar.

17 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising generating at least two images and using the at least two images in combination to print the birthmark or scar.

18 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising generating a plurality of images taken at different times and using the plurality of images to eliminate or isolate skin artifacts that are not part of the birthmark or scar.

19 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the at least one image also includes a tattoo.
