Abstract

This appliance for dispensing strips of pre-cut material rolled into spools includes a case to accommodate the spool, with a bottom face, a horizontal lower part and lateral faces, and a hinged closing cover, with the case and the cover being designed at their lower part with a central opening allowing passage and dispensing of the strip of material. The case has a horizontal lower part with a central opening in its thickness and, on its bottom face, a profiled ring positioned in a plane that is eccentric in relation to the central opening, defining a passage between them for the pulled strip of material. Under the bottom face of the case, there is a hinged flap designed to accommodate a circular profiled dome form, to integrate opposite the interior opening formed on the ring, while allowing continuity of passage for the pulled strip of material, and its exit from the appliance.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A dispensing appliance for dispensing strips of pre-cut material rolled into a spool, comprising:
a case to receive the spool, with a bottom face, a horizontal lower part and lateral faces, and a cover hinged to the case and having a lower part and a front face, the horizontal lower part of the case and the lower part of the cover being each provided with a central opening for passage and dispensing of a pulled strip of material, wherein a profiled ring having an interior opening is positioned on a lower face of the horizontal lower part and eccentric in relation to the central opening of the case, providing therebetween a passageway for the pulled strip of material, wherein a flap is hinged to the lower face of the case and accommodates a circular profiled dome that integrates opposite the interior opening formed in the ring, while leaving continuity of passage for the pulled strip of material for exit from the appliance, and wherein the flap has a profiled design that is positioned opposite the cover, so as to be solicited by the cover when the cover is raised for closure, so as to ensure positioning of the dome around the interior opening in the ring, depending on the characteristics of the pulled strip of material, passing through the central opening formed in the case then passing between the ring and the dome positioned opposite each other.

2 . A dispensing appliance according to claim 1 , wherein the ring has a conical form with, internally, a curved profile facilitating passage and sliding of the pulled strip of material.

         3 . A dispensing appliance according to claim 1 , wherein the dome has a ring-shaped lip.

4 . A dispensing appliance according to claim 1 , wherein the dome is pivotally mounted on the flap.

5 . A dispensing appliance according to claim 1 , wherein the dome is fixed onto the flap by being molded with the the flap or by being joined on.

6 . A dispensing appliance according to claim 1 , wherein the dome is mounted on a shaft positioned on the flap and has a circular central hollow internally, of volume greater than a cross section of the shaft, so as to allow a 360° deflection of the dome around the shaft, with the dome being mounted so as to rotate freely on the shaft and maintained by a means of locking, with the dome being automatically centered around the central interior opening of the ring.

7 . A dispensing appliance according to claim 1 , wherein the lower part of the cover is provided with profiled lugs, forming an excess thickness able to bear the profiled design ( 4 . 2 , 4 . 4 ) formed on the flap, with the lugs allowing raising of the flap through elasticity, in conjunction with a base of the flap.

8 . A dispensing appliance according to claim 7 , wherein the front face of the cover has a wing with horizontal return provided with two oblong openings to accommodate means acting on profiled tongues provided on the flap.

9 . A dispensing appliance according to claim 8 , wherein the means acting on the profiled tongues incorporate a cursor with a cam-shaped sloped profile, associated with an adjustment and locking button, and an extremity of the profiled tongues has a bezel form ( 4 - 2 - 1 ) that comes into contact with the cam-shaped sloped profile.

10 . A dispensing appliance according to claim 1 , wherein a front part of the dome, at a free end of the flap, is formed with a crescent-shaped cut-out in the thickness of the flap, with this cut-out having the function of facilitating the passage and the pulling to withdrew the pulled strip of material, and wherein the angular amplitude of this crescent-shaped cut-out is approximately from 90° to 160°.

11 . A dispensing appliance according to claim 1 , wherein, on part of the periphery of the ring, a lip is directly molded with the horizontal lower part of the case, in curved form and designed with an angular amplitude of around 30 to 90°, and in that wherein the lip has the function of vertically directing the pulled strip of material, in a format established at exit, for a satisfactory hold.

12 . A dispensing appliance according to claim 11 , wherein teeth are provided on part of an interior periphery of a lower neck of the ring.

13 . A dispensing appliance according to claim 11 , wherein the flap is designed to accommodate the dome molded onto the bottom face of the latter, with two concentric toothed areas provided on part of the periphery of a domed area, to facilitate the separation of a format of strip of material during twisting by the user.

14 . A dispensing appliance according to claim 1 , wherein the spool of material is positioned in a vertical plane in the case, with a central opening of the spool being opposite the central opening formed in the horizontal lower part of the case, with the spool being pressed against the horizontal lower part, and wherein the appliance is used with the central unreeling of the spool of material.

15 . A dispensing appliance according to claim 1 , wherein the lateral faces of the case have articulated arms with extremities designed with end pieces for accommodating the spool of material, and wherein the arms articulate from a raised vertical position to a lowered horizontal position, to correspond with the mode of positioning of the spool of material, and wherein the arms are locked in either the raised vertical position or the lowered horizontal position by means positioned on the case, and wherein the appliance is used with the spool of material in the horizontal position.

16 . A dispensing appliance according to claim 15 , wherein the means are provided by the design of the lateral faces of the case, with a hollow recess for accommodating an embossing formed in an exterior part of the articulated arms, and wherein the lateral faces of the case have limiters that restrict tipping of the arms to the horizontal position.
