Abstract
Home screen contents may be provided simultaneously while a communication terminal switches to an active mode from an inactive mode. The home screen contents correspond to an application installed in the communication terminal, and a user may set an application which desires the home screen contents to selectively receive the home screen contents.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 18 . (canceled)
19 . A method for providing an advertisement to a home screen of a mobile communication terminal based on position information of the mobile communication terminal, the method comprising:
receiving a signal transmitted from a communication device installed at a store to the mobile communication terminal; confirming the position information of the mobile communication terminal based on the received signal; and switching to an active state in which the mobile communication terminal is communicable and a display unit is turned on and outputting the home screen to the display unit, if there is an input by the user in an inactive state in which the mobile communication terminal is communicable and the display unit is turned off, wherein the home screen is distinct from a standby screen which is in a use standby state of the mobile communication terminal, and wherein the home screen comprises an advertisement associated with the store, which is provided to the display unit based on the position information, a link tab for allowing access to additional information associated with the advertisement, and a skip tab for switching to the standby screen of the mobile communication terminal.
20 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the advertisement provided to the home screen is provided to the mobile communication terminal through a separate server distinct from the communication device.
21 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the home screen is provided through an application installed on the mobile communication terminal, and wherein the application allows the home screen to be outputted to the display unit when the mobile communication terminal is switched from the inactive state to the active state.
22 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the home screen provided by the application is the execution of the application itself.
23 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the output of the home screen is provided if the received signal is a signal corresponding to the application.
24 . The method of claim 23 , further comprising a step of confirming a pre-approval code of the application, wherein the home screen is provided if the pre-approval code of the application approves the provision of the home screen.
25 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising a step of confirming a pre-approval code of the application, wherein the home screen is provided if the pre-approval code of the application approves the provision of the home screen.
26 . The method of claim 25 , wherein the pre-approval code of the application can be set at the time of installing the application or in the middle of executing the application.
27 . The method of claim 25 , wherein a priority of the home screen is determined depending on the time when the mobile communication terminal is switched from the inactive state to the active state.
28 . The method of claim 27 , wherein the home screen comprises a plurality of home screens, and wherein the plurality of home screens is outputted in different sizes depending on the priority of the home screen.
29 . The method of claim 27 , wherein the home screen comprises a plurality of home screens shiftable by a scroll operation, and wherein a home screen having the highest priority is disposed on the entire surface of the display unit, and home screens having lower priorities are outputted upon the shift thereof by the scroll operation.
30 . The method of claim 25 , wherein a priority of the home screen is determined depending on the distance between the communication device and the mobile communication terminal, and wherein if the mobile communication terminal receives signals from a plurality of communication devices, a signal from the communication device positioned at the nearest distance from the mobile communication terminal is processed preferentially to provide the home screen.
31 . The method of claim 30 , wherein the home screen comprises a plurality of home screens, and wherein the plurality of home screens is outputted in different sizes depending on the priority of the home screen.
32 . The method of claim 30 , wherein the home screen comprises a plurality of home screens shiftable by a scroll operation, and wherein a home screen having the highest priority is disposed on the entire surface of the display unit, and home screens having lower priorities are outputted upon the shift thereof by the scroll operation.
33 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the advertisement provided by the home screen is information associate with the store where the communication device is installed, the advertisement comprising at least one selected from among coupon information, event information, and product information.
34 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the mobile communication terminal receives the signal from the communication device using short distance communication.
35 . The method of claim 34 , wherein the short distance communication is either one-way communication between the communication device and the mobile communication terminal, or two-way communication between the communication device and the mobile communication terminal.
36 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the home screen is provided to a certain portion of a lock screen of the mobile communication terminal.
37 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the input by the user for switching from the inactive state to the active state is implemented by pressing a button, touching the screen, or opening a cover for the display unit.Cited by (0)
