Abstract
The present invention provides for a method for treating a disease condition associated with PI3-kinase α and/or mTOR in a subject. In another aspect, the invention provides for a method for treating a disease condition associated with PI3-kinase α and/or mTOR in a subject. In yet another aspect, a method of inhibiting phosphorylation of both Akt (S473) and Akt (T308) in a cell is set forth.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method for treating cancer comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of the mTOR inhibitor:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; and a therapeutically effective amount of the PI3-kinase α inhibitor:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof: wherein said cancer is renal cell carcinoma or endometrial cancer.
2 . (canceled)
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said cancer is endometrial cancer.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said cancer is renal cell carcinoma.
5 - 18 . (canceled)
19 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the PI3-kinase α inhibitor and/or the mTOR inhibitor are administered parenterally, orally, intraperitoneally, intravenously, intraarterially, transdermally, intramuscularly, liposomally, via local delivery by catheter or stent, subcutaneously, intraadiposally, or intrathecally.
20 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the PI3-kinase α inhibitor and/or the mTOR inhibitor are co-administered to the subject in the same formulation.
21 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the PI3-kinase α inhibitor and/or the mTOR inhibitor are co-administered to the subject in different formulations.
22 - 38 . (canceled)
39 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the PI3-kinase α inhibitor and/or the mTOR inhibitor are administered orally.
40 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the PI3-kinase α inhibitor and/or the mTOR inhibitor are administered simultaneously or sequentially.Cited by (0)
