Abstract
The invention provides composition and methods for repairing a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A scaffold for repair of a tissue defect in comprising a three-dimensional matrix adapted to facilitate cell in-growth, wherein said matrix is shaped for implantation into a patient at the site of the tissue defect, wherein said matrix comprises a natural matrix material wherein the natural matrix material is a collagen glycosaminoglycan copolymer comprised of collagen type I, and wherein said scaffold further comprises plasma.
. The scaffold according to claim 1 , wherein the tissue defect is extra-articular.
. The scaffold according to claim 1 , wherein said tissue defect is intra-articular.
. The scaffold according to claim 1 , wherein said tissue defect comprises a ligament.
. The scaffold according to claim 1 , wherein said tissue defect comprises a tendon.
. The scaffold according to claim 1 , wherein said tissue defect comprises bone.
. A scaffold for repair of a tissue defect in comprising a three-dimensional matrix adapted to facilitate cell in-growth, wherein said matrix is shaped for implantation into a patient at the site of the tissue defect, wherein said matrix comprises a natural matrix material wherein the natural matrix material is a collagen glycosaminoglycan copolymer comprised of collagen type I, and wherein said scaffold further comprises a platelet.
. The scaffold according to claim 7 , wherein said tissue defect is extra-articular.
. The scaffold according to claim 7 , wherein said tissue defect is intra-articular.
. The scaffold according to claim 7 , wherein said tissue defect comprises a ligament.
. The scaffold according to claim 7 , wherein said tissue defect comprises a tendon.
. A scaffold for repair of a tissue defect in comprising a three-dimensional matrix adapted to facilitate cell in-growth, wherein said matrix is shaped for implantation into a patient at the site of the tissue defect, wherein said matrix comprises a natural matrix material wherein the natural matrix material is a collagen glycosaminoglycan copolymer comprised of collagen type I, and wherein said scaffold further comprises a neutralizing agent.
. The scaffold according to claim 12 , wherein said tissue defect is extra-articular.
. The scaffold according to claim 12 , wherein said tissue defect is intra-articular.
. The scaffold according to claim 12 , wherein said tissue defect is a partial or complete tear of a ligament.
. The scaffold according to claim 12 , wherein said tissue defect is a partial or complete tear of an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
. The scaffold according to claim 12 , wherein said tissue defect is a partial or complete tear of the rotator cuff.
. The scaffold according to claim 12 , wherein said tissue defect is a partial or complete tear of the labrum.
. The scaffold according to claim 12 , wherein said tissue defect is a partial or complete tear of the meniscus.Cited by (0)
