Systems and methods for presenting content

Abstract

Systems and methods for providing content. In one embodiment, a method for providing user access to online content can be provided. The method can include aggregating content from one or more third party webpages; storing at least a portion of the content in at least one data storage device; and when the user requests, via a browser program, a selection of content from the one or more third party webpages, providing the user with access to the stored portion of content.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method comprising:
 aggregating, by a processing device, a plurality of content from one or more third party webpages;   normalizing the plurality of third party content to generate normalized aggregated content;   receiving a selection of first content from the normalized aggregated content;   receiving a selection of a recommendation slot of a first website;   receiving a configuration command identifying a duration of time to lock the recommendation slot; and   providing, via a user interface, the first content in the recommendation slot in accordance with the configuration command locking the first content in to the recommendation slot for the duration of time.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of content is aggregated in accordance with authorization received from the one or more third party webpages. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 facilitating searching of the normalized aggregated content.   
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the first content is provided via a browser program. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein providing the first content comprises:
 generating a template associated with the first independent website; and   outputting the first content and the second content in the template.   
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising receiving authorization to store the plurality of content. 
     
     
         7 . A system comprising:
 a memory; and   a processing device operatively coupled to the memory, the processor to:
 aggregate a plurality of third party content from one or more third party webpages; 
 normalize the plurality of third party content to generate normalized aggregated content; 
 receive a selection of first content from the normalized aggregated content; 
 receive a selection of a recommendation slot of a first website; 
 receive a configuration command identifying a duration of time to lock the recommendation slot; and 
 provide, via a user interface, the first content in the recommendation slot in accordance with the configuration command locking the first content in to the recommendation slot for the duration of time. 
   
     
     
         8 . The system of  claim 7 , the processor to:
 facilitate searching of the normalized aggregated content; and   receive input of the selection.   
     
     
         9 . The system of  claim 7 , the processing device to provide the first content via a browser program. 
     
     
         10 . The system of  claim 7 , the processing device to:
 generate a template associated with the first website; and   output the first content in the template.   
     
     
         11 . The system of  claim 7 , the processing device to aggregate the plurality of content in accordance with authorization received from the one or more third party webpages. 
     
     
         12 . The system of  claim 7 , the processing device to receive authorization to store the plurality of content. 
     
     
         13 . A non-transitory computer readable storage medium including instructions that, when executed by a processing device, cause the processing device to:
 aggregate, by a processing device, a plurality of content from one or more third party webpages;   normalize the plurality of third party content to generate normalized aggregated content;   receive a selection of first content from the normalized aggregated content to be placed in a recommendation slot of a first website, wherein the recommendation slot is associated with a duration of time to lock the recommendation slot; and   provide, via a user interface, the first content in the recommendation slot in accordance with the duration of time associated with the recommendation slot.   
     
     
         14 . The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of  claim 13 , the processing device to facilitate searching of the normalized aggregated content. 
     
     
         15 . The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of  claim 13 , the processing device to provide the first content via a browser program. 
     
     
         16 . The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of  claim 13 , the processing device to:
 generate a template associated with the first website; and   output the first content in the template.   
     
     
         17 . The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of  claim 13 , the processing device to aggregate the plurality of content in accordance with authorization received from the one or more third party webpages. 
     
     
         19 . The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of  claim 13 , the processing device to receive authorization to store the plurality of content.
