Abstract
The invention relates to bandwidth signalling in a multicarrier wireless telecommunication system. The information is transferred in the band itself (bold carriers) and contains information of the size and location of the band (I). The information is repeated in a number of carriers (bold) through out the band.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A mobile station node for a multicarrier telecommunication system, the mobile station node comprising:
a memory; and processing circuitry configured to execute program instructions stored in the memory, whereby the mobile station node is operative to:
receive information relating to at least one available operational band in terms of size and location in the radio spectrum.
2 . The mobile station node of claim 1 , wherein the information is stored in the memory.
3 . The mobile station node of claim 1 , wherein the information relating to location is explicitly signalled.
4 . The mobile station node of claim 1 , wherein the information relating to location is implicitly derivable from synchronization signals.
5 . The mobile station node of claim 1 , wherein the information comprises an identifying number representing the size and location of the at least one available operational band.
6 . A method performed by a mobile station node for a multicarrier telecommunication system, the method comprising:
receiving information relating to at least one available operational band in terms of size and location in the radio spectrum.
7 . The method of claim 6 , further comprising storing the information in a memory of the mobile station node.
8 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the information relating to location is explicitly signalled.
9 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the information relating to location is implicitly derivable from synchronization signals.
10 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the information comprises an identifying number representing the size and location of the at least one available operational band.
11 . A base station node in a multicarrier telecommunication system, the to base station node comprising:
a memory; and processing circuitry configured to execute program instructions stored in the memory, whereby the base station node is operative to:
transmit information relating to properties of at least one available operational band of the spectrum allocated to the system, wherein the information is related to size and location of the at least one available operational band.
12 . The base station node of claim 11 , wherein the information relating to location is explicitly signalled.
13 . The base station node of claim 11 , wherein the information relating to location is implicitly derivable from synchronization signals.
14 . The base station node of claim 11 , wherein the information comprises an identifying number representing the size and location of the at least one available operational band.Cited by (0)
