Abstract
A server may utilize a dialog engine and a search engine to extract key phrases from a received natural language query. A database may be searched for a set of webpages based on the extracted key phrases. A first response having a portion of the set of webpages may be transmitted. The server may continue, after the first response using a machine learning function without user search input, to search information associated with the received natural language query.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method performed by a server, the method comprising:
extracting, by a processor of the server utilizing a dialog engine and a search engine, key phrases from a received natural language query; searching, by the server, a database for a set of webpages based on the extracted key phrases; transmitting, by a transceiver of the server, a first response having a portion of the set of webpages, wherein the first response includes an audible component; and continuing, by the server after the first response using a machine learning function without user search input, to search information associated with the received natural language query.
2 . The method of claim 1 further comprising:
transmitting, by the transceiver of the server, a second response having additional text and audible results based on the received natural language query.
3 . The method of claim 1 further comprising:
generating, by the dialog engine and the search engine on the server, a second response having text or audible results based on the received natural language query and a text query.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the searching is performed by a plurality of search engines.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the server transmits an option to review related information separate from the first response.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first response includes documents.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first response is provided by any one of a graphical user interface, a browser, a multi-media element, synthetic speech by a virtual agent, or a natural language response.
8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the natural language query is part of a dialog or speech.
9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the extracting includes utilizing a large vocabulary speech recognizer by the dialog engine.
10 . A server comprising:
a processor configured to extract, with utilization of a dialog engine and a search engine, key phrases from a received natural language query; circuitry configured to search a database for a set of webpages based on the extracted key phrases; a transceiver configured to transmit a first response having a portion of the set of webpages, wherein the first response includes an audible component; and circuitry configured to continue search, after the first response with utilization of a machine learning function without user search input, information associated with the received natural language query.
11 . The server of claim 10 further comprising:
the transceiver further configured to transmit a second response having additional text and audible results based on the received natural language query.
12 . The server of claim 10 further comprising:
circuitry configured to generate, by the dialog engine and the search engine, a second response having text or audible results based on the received natural language query and a text query.
13 . The server of claim 10 , wherein the search for the set of webpages is performed by a plurality of search engines.
14 . The server of claim 10 , wherein the server transmits an option to review related information separate from the first response.
15 . The server of claim 10 , wherein the first response includes documents.
16 . The server of claim 10 , wherein the first response is provided by any one of a graphical user interface, a browser, a multi-media element, synthetic speech by a virtual agent, or a natural language response.
17 . The server of claim 10 , wherein the natural language query is part of a dialog or speech.
18 . The server of claim 10 , wherein the extraction includes utilization of a large vocabulary speech recognizer by the dialog engine.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
