Abstract

A wireless connection may be established between a first computing device and a second computing device. A first media content may be displayed by the first computing device. The wireless connection may be determined to include a signal strength. The signal strength may be determined to be below a signal strength. In response to the determining that the wireless connection includes a signal strength and determining that the signal strength is below a threshold, a first bookmark may be generated. The first bookmark may reference a location within the first media content.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 7 . (canceled)

         8 . A system comprising:
 a second computing device having a processor and a memory;
 wherein the memory stores program instructions, the program instructions executable by the processor cause the system to:
 establish a wireless connection between a first computing device and the second computing device, the first computing device displaying a first media content;
 determine that the wireless connection includes a signal strength and determine that the signal strength is below a threshold; and
 in response to the determining that the wireless connection includes a signal strength and the determining that the signal strength is below a threshold, generate a first bookmark, the first bookmark referencing a location within the first media content.

         9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the program instructions executable by the processor further cause the system to generate at least a second bookmark referencing a location within a second media content.

         10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the program instructions executable by the processor further cause the system to:
 generate an available time estimate that a user of the second computing device has to view media content; compare a time remaining after the first bookmark of the first media content with the available time estimate, and compare a time remaining after the second bookmark of the second media content with the available time estimate; determine that the time remaining after the first bookmark of the first media content does not exceed the available time estimate; and display, based on the determining that the time remaining after the first bookmark of the first media content does not exceed the available time estimate, a notification at the second computing device, wherein the notification includes a recommendation that a user associated with the second computing device view the first media content beginning from at first bookmark.

         11 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the program instructions executable by the processor further cause the system to:
 identify a day of a week and a clock time of the day; determine a subject matter of the first media content and the second media content; and display, based on the identifying and the determining the subject matter, a notification at the second computing device, wherein the notification includes a recommendation that a user view the first media content beginning at the first bookmark.

         12 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the program instructions executable by the processor further cause the system to:
 generate a mood estimate of a user associated with the second computing device; determine a subject matter of the first media content and the second media content; and display, based on the generating of the mood estimate and the determining of the subject matter, a notification at the second computing device, wherein the notification includes a recommendation that the user view the first media content beginning after the first bookmark.

         13 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the program instructions executable by the processor further cause the system to receive, from a third computing device, at least a second bookmark referencing a location within a second media content, wherein the second bookmark is displayed to the second computing device.

         14 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the second computing device is a smart watch.

         15 . A computer program product comprising a computer readable storage medium having program code embodied therewith, the program code comprising computer readable program code configured for:
 establishing a wireless connection between a first computing device and a second computing device, the first computing device for use in displaying a first media content; determining that the wireless connection includes a signal strength and determining that the signal strength is below a threshold; and in response to the determining that the wireless connection includes a signal strength and determining that the signal strength is below a threshold, generating a first bookmark, the first bookmark referencing a location within the first media content.

         16 . The computer program product of claim 15 , wherein the computer readable program code is further configured for:
 determining, after the generating of the first bookmark, that the signal strength is above the threshold; and displaying, in response to the determining that the signal strength is above the threshold, a notification at the second computing device, the notification prompting a user associated with the second computing device to resume watching the first media content beginning from the first bookmark.

         17 . The computer program product of claim 15 , wherein the first computing device is a television.

         18 . The computer program product of claim 15 , wherein the computer readable program code is further configured for generating at least a second bookmark referencing a location within a second media content.

         19 . The computer program product of claim 18 , wherein the computer readable program code is further configured for:
 generating an available time estimate that a user of the first computing device has to view media content; comparing a time remaining after the first bookmark of the first media content with the available time estimate, and comparing a time remaining after the second bookmark of the second media content with the available time estimate; determining that the time remaining after the first bookmark of the first media content does not exceed the available time estimate; and displaying, based on the determining that the time remaining after the first bookmark of the first media content does not exceed the available time estimate, a notification at the first computing device, wherein the notification includes a recommendation that a user associated with the first computing device view the first media content beginning from at first bookmark.

         20 . The computer program product of claim 18 , wherein the computer readable program code is further configured for:
 identifying a day of a week and a clock time of the day; determining a subject matter of the first media content and the second media content; and displaying, based on the identifying and the determining the subject matter, a notification at the first computing device, wherein the notification includes a recommendation that a user view the first media content beginning at the first bookmark
