Abstract

An athletic garment assembly for cushioning a user's heel includes a sock that may be worn by a user. A cushion is positioned on the sock such that the cushion may be aligned with the user's heel when the user wears the sock. The cushion is comprised of a resiliently compressible material. Thus, the cushion absorbs impact energy from the user's heel when the user wears the sock thereby enhancing physical comfort of the user's heel.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
I claim:

1 . An athletic garment assembly configured to provide a cushion for a user's foot, said assembly comprising:
a sock configured to be worn by a user; and a cushion being positioned on said sock wherein said cushion is configured to be aligned with the user's heel when the user wears said sock, said cushion being comprised of a resiliently compressible material wherein said cushion is configured to absorb impact energy from the user's heel when the user wears said sock thereby enhancing physical comfort of the user's heel.

2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein said sock has a foot portion and a leg portion, said foot portion having a heel section, said sock being substantially hollow.

3 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein said leg portion has a top end, said top end being open wherein said top end is configured to insertably receive a foot of a user such that a heel of the user is aligned with said heel section, said heel section having an inner surface and an outer surface.

3 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein:
said sock has a heel section, said heel section having an inner surface and an outer surface; and said cushion is positioned between said inner surface and said outer surface.

4 . An athletic garment assembly configured to provide a cushion for a user's foot, said assembly comprising:
a sock having a foot portion and a leg portion, said foot portion having a heel section, said sock being substantially hollow, said leg portion having a top end, said top end being open wherein said top end is configured to insertably receive a foot of a user such that a heel of the user is aligned with said heel section, said heel section having an inner surface and an outer surface; and a cushion being positioned on said sock, said cushion being positioned between said inner surface and said outer surface wherein said cushion is configured to be aligned with the user's heel when the user wears said sock, said cushion being comprised of a resiliently compressible material wherein said cushion is configured to absorb impact energy from the user's heel when the user wears said sock thereby enhancing physical comfort of the user's heel.
